Sinjai – Polres Sinjai mengamankan 14 unit sepeda motor dalam razia balap liar dilingkungan Tanassang, Kelurahan Alehanuae, Kecamatan Sinjai Utara, Kabupaten Sinjai, belasan motor itu dibawa oleh pengendara berusia remaja yang terjaring di lokasi. Kamis sore (28/9/2023).
Razia dipimpin langsung oleh Wakapolres Sinjai Kompol Andi Muh. Syafei,S.Sos.,MH didampingi Kabag Ops Polres Sinjai Kompol Sunyoto, S.Sos dan beberapa perwira serta personel gabungan Polres Sinjai.
Kapolres Sinjai Akbp Fery Nur Abdulah, S.Ik melalui Wakapolres Sinjai Kompol Andi Muh. Syafei, S.Sos.,MH mengatakan razia ini dilakukan guna menekan angka kecelakaan akibat balap liar dan penggunaan knalpot brong yang meresahkan masyarakat dan pengguna jalan yang lain.
“Dari penertiban yang dilakukan, pihaknya mengamankan sejumlah 14 unit sepeda motor yang diduga terlibat dalam balap liar. Dan motor tersebut telah diamankan di Mapolres Sinjai. Ujarnya.
Razia tersebut menindak lanjuti adanya laporan masyarakat yang resah dengan aksi balap liar ditanassang dan pelakunya bahkan ada anak remaja dari Kabupaten tetangga yakni Bone.
Kapolres Sinjai meminta kerjasama dari para orang tua di Kabupaten Sinjai untuk lebih ketat mengawasi keberadaan anak-anaknya. Polisi meminta kepada para orang tua, agar anaknya dalam pengawasannya dari hal-hal yang tidak kita inginkan, Hal ini untuk mengantisipasi agar mereka tidak terlibat dengan aksi balap liar.
“Belasan kendaraan yang kami amankan ini rata rata pengendara masih remaja. Jadi kami meminta kepada para orang tua untuk lebih ketat mengawasi keberadaan anak anaknya, agar tidak terlibat aksi balap liar yang bisa membahayakan dirinya dan orang lain,” Harapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Kapolres Sinjai juga meminta kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat jika mengetahui ada kegiatan yang menggangu waktu istirahat di siang terlebih malam hari, agar segera melapor ke Polres Sinjai atau kantor Polisi terdekat.
Polres Sinjai akan selalu gencar melakukan razia dan penertiban aksi balap liar. Tujuannya untuk memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada masyarakat.
