Sinjai – Polres Sinjai melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman pohon secara serentak di Sembilan Polsek dengan tema Polri Lestarikan Negeri, melalui kegiatan Penghijauan sejak dini.
Penanaman pohon serentak, hari ini Rabu, (23/8/2023) seluruh wilayah Indonesia menggelar penanaman pohon yang dipantau secara langsung oleh Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si melalui secara virtual zoom meeting, untuk Polres Sinjai dilaksanakan di pantai Mallengreng, Desa Tongke- tongke, Kecamatan Sinjai Timur, Kabupaten Sinjai dengan menanam pohon mangrove.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan Bupati Sinjai Andi Seto Gadhista Asapa, SH.,LLM Kapolres Sinjai Akbp Fery Nur Abdulah, S.Ik Dandim 1424 Sinjai Letkol. Inf. Sumardi,SE.,M.Si Kadis Satpol.PP dan Damkar Agung Budi Prayogo, S.IP.,M.Si Kadis LHK H. Sofwan Sabirin, S.Sos.,MM Pejabat Utama Polres Sinjai, dan unsur Forkopimcam Sinjai Timur serta segenap personel Polres Sinjai.
Penanaman pohon untuk Polres Sinjai dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Sinjai Akbp Fery Nur Abdulah, S.Ik dan untuk Polsek jajaran dipimpin para Kapolsek.
Polres Sinjai menyiapkan bibit pohon yang ditanam sebanyak 1000 pohon yang terdiri dari pohon mangrove, trembesi, mahoni, ketapang, dan kaliandra.
Kapolres Sinjai Akbp Fery Nur Abdulah, S.Ik mengatakan penanaman pohon serentak ini merupakan program Kapolri dalam lestarikan negeri melalui kegiatan Penghijauan sejak dini yang dilaksanakan seluruh Polda, Polres dan Polsek secara serentak dilaksanakan pada hari ini.
“Penanaman bibit pohon sebagai bentuk kepedulian Polri khususnya Polres Sinjai dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, sekaligus upaya dalam mencegah terjadinya bencana alam serta mengurangi polusi udara sehingga memberikan efek positif bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan hidup. Katanya.
Kapolres Sinjai berharap, penanaman pohon ini dapat bermanfaat untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan upaya penghijauan sejak dini. Ujarnya.
“Semoga penanaman pohon-pohon ini akan jadi awal dari penghijauan yang kita harapkan di masa depan, Polri lestarikan negeri, dengan penghijauan sejak dini,” Jelasnya.
Selain itu, dengan kegiatan ini mudah-mudahan dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk punya kepedulian yang sama dengan lingkungan, Sehingga alam kita bisa terjaga dan dapat mencegah perubahan iklim. Karna penghijauan adalah salah satu hal yang penting untuk kelestarian alam kita,” Pungkasnya.(Redaksiswanara)
