SIMALUNGUN – Polres Simalungun, Sabtu (10/6) malam, melaksanakan Kegiatan Kepolisian Yang Ditingkatkan (KRYD) dalam rangka memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada masyarakat serta untuk antisipasi kegiatan masyarakat di malam Minggu. Kegiatan ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolres Simalungun AKBP Ronald F.C Sipayung di sejumlah wilayah rawan kriminalitas di Kabupaten Simalungun.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini sejumlah pejabat di lingkungan Polres Simalungun dan instansi terkait, seperti TNI dan Sat Pol PP. Peserta yang hadir berjumlah kurang lebih 80 orang, termasuk 40 personel Polres Simalungun.
Kegiatan patroli dibagi menjadi dua tim yang masing-masing ditangani oleh penanggung jawab yang berbeda. Tim pertama ditangani oleh Kabag Sumda Polres Simalungun KOMPOL Joner Purba dan melakukan patroli di sejumlah titik di Simalungun seperti Pusat Keramaian Batu-6, Lapangan Bola Kebun Rambung Merah, dan lapangan-lapangan lainnya yang kerap digunakan sebagai tempat berkumpulnya masyarakat.
Sementara itu, Tim kedua ditangani oleh PLH Kabag Ops/Kasat Narkoba Polres Simalungun AKP Adi Haryono, SH., dan melakukan patroli di sejumlah pemukiman di Kecamatan Siantar dan Kampung Bersih Anti Narkoba.
Dalam kegiatan ini, personel Polres Simalungun juga memberikan himbauan kepada masyarakat untuk tetap menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban. Kegiatan patroli berskala besar ini menjadi kegiatan rutin Polres Simalungun dalam rangka mendukung KRYD bertujuan untuk antisipasi 3C dan balap liar.
Kegiatan patroli malam hari ini berakhir sekira pukul 23.30 WIB dengan situasi yang aman dan kondusif. Personel Polres Simalungun kemudian melanjutkan kegiatan patroli rutin antisipasi kerawanan Kamtibmas.(joe)
