Semarang – Guna mendeteksi pelanggaran di jalan raya khususnya di wilayah Kab. Semarang, Jajaran Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Semarang bersama Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Jateng melakukan uji coba Drone ETLE di sepanjang jalur utama Kab. Semarang, Ungaran, Jumat (27/1/2023).
Kasat Lantas AKP Dwi Himawan C., SIK., MM., saat dikonfirmasi menjelaskan bahwa selain menggunakan camera CCTV dan tilang manual, kedepannya dapat memantau serta mendeteksi pelanggaran di jalan raya.
“Kami bersama jajaran Dit Lantas Polda Jateng menggandeng Assosiasi Pilot Drone Indonesia (APDI) Semarang, melakukan uji coba pemantauan pelanggaran di Jalur Utama Ungaran. Harapan kami dapat mendeteksi pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang tidak tercover oleh CCTV maupun personel Lalu Lintas di jalan.” Ungkapnya.
Mengambil lokasi di Jl. Diponegoro Ungaran, tepatnya di Persimpangan Pegadaian Ungaran. Camera Drone yang diterbangkan kurang lebih 15 menit dapat memantau sedikitnya 5(lima) pelanggaran yang melintas di lokasi uji coba.
Selain AKP Dwi Himawan hadir dalam kegiatan uji coba, Kasigar Dit Lantas Polda Jateng Kompol Ilham Syafriantoro Sakti, SH., SIK., beserta Jajaran Subdit Gakkum Dit Lantas Polda Jateng dengan didampingi Kaur Bin Ops dan Kanit Gakkum Sat Lantas Polres Semarang tampak hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut.
Dikonfirmasi di tempat berbeda, Kapolres Semarang AKBP Achmad Oka Mahendra, SIK., MM., menaruh harapan dengan adanya pengembangan teknologi untuk memantau pelanggaran dapat menekan angka fatalitas kecelakaan di jalan raya terutama di Wilayah Hukum Polres Semarang.(Redaksiswanara)
