Purbalingga – Ratusan personel dari Polres Purbalingga dilibatkan dalam pengamanan jalur, kunjungan Wakil Presiden (Wapres) Republik Indonesia KH Ma’ruf Amin dari wilayah Kabupaten Purbalingga menuju Kabupaten Banyumas. Apel digelar di Alun-alun Purbalingga, Rabu (23/11/2022).
Kabag Ops Polres Purbalingga Kompol Totok Nuryanto yang memimpin apel mengatakan bahwa dalam rangka kunjungan wapres, Polres Purbalingga menyiapkan ratusan personel pengamanan. Pengamanan dilakukan secara terbuka dan tertutup.
“Personel pengamanan terbuka disebar pada sejumlah penggal jalan yang dilalui kendaraan Wapres, dari Bandara Jenderal Besar Soedirman hingga wilayah perbatasan Kabupaten Banyumas,” jelasnya.
Dijelaskan bahwa pengamanan dilakukan untuk menjamin kelancaran jalur yang dilalui Wakil Presiden menuju Purwokerto. Serta mencegah gangguan keamanan yang dapat terjadi. Harapannya kegiatan bisa berjalan aman dan lancar.
“Tidak hanya pengamanan jalur saat perjalanan dari Bandara Jenderal Besar Soedirman menuju Purwokerto. Kami juga siapkan pengamanan apabila rombongan kembali dari Purwokerto menuju bandara,” jelasnya.
Dari data personel yang dilibatkan dalam pengamanan kunjungan Wapres dari Polres Purbalingga berjumlah 249 orang. Pengamanan dilakukan secara gabungan berbagai fungsi kepolisian dari polsek dan polres.
Rencananya Wakil Presiden RI akan mendarat di Bandara Jenderal Besar Soedirman. Kemudian melewati jalur darat menuju Purwokerto dalam rangka menghadiri kegiatan Pembukaan Muktamar Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah ke-41.
