Mojokerto – Operasi Ketupat merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan oleh kepolisian dalam rangka menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat selama periode libur Lebaran. Operasi ini dilakukan untuk mencegah tindak kejahatan dan kecelakaan lalu lintas yang sering terjadi pada masa libur panjang seperti Lebaran.
Wilayah Polres Mojokerto sebagai salah satu tujuan wisata di Jawa Timur, juga melakukan persiapan menjelang Operasi Ketupat 2023. Salah satu persiapan yang dilakukan adalah revitalisasi jalur rawan laka yang ada di Kabupaten Mojokerto. Kegiatan ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kasat Lantas AKP Bayu pada hari Rabu (29/3).
Jalur rawan laka atau biasa disebut dengan black spot adalah jalur-jalur yang sering terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas. Di Mojokerto, terdapat beberapa jalur rawan laka yang perlu mendapat perhatian khusus, seperti jalur Gotekan yang berada di wilayah pacet Mojokerto.
Untuk meminimalkan jumlah kecelakaan di jalur rawan laka tersebut, Polres Mojokerto melakukan beberapa langkah, di antaranya Penertiban lalu lintas dengan melibatkan petugas di lapangan yang dibantu para relawan di Mojokerto. Petugas akan memantau dan mengatur arus lalu lintas sehingga dapat mengurangi kemacetan yang sering menjadi penyebab kecelakaan.
Selain itu Polres Mojokerto juga memasang rambu lalu lintas dan marka jalan di jalur-jalur rawan laka. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan petunjuk dan informasi kepada pengendara agar lebih berhati-hati saat melintas di jalur tersebut.
Kapolres Mojokerto melalui Kasat lantas AKP Bayu menghimbau warga masyarakat saat melewati jalur gotekan pacet yang merupakan jalur alternatif yang menghubungkan wilayah Mojokerto dengan wisata kota batu.
“Jalur ini merupakan salah satu jalur Black Spot yang ada di Kabupaten Mojokerto. Tanjakan disini cukup tinggi. Ujar AKP Bayu.
“Dibutuhkan kendaraan yang vit untuk melewati jalur ini, jangan paksakan kendaraan klo memang tidak mampu melewati jalur ini, karena akan sangat berbahaya untuk keselamatan pengendara itu sendiri.” Tambahnya.
Polres Mojokerto juga meningkatkan patroli keamanan di jalur-jalur rawan laka dengan cara menempatkan petugas di pos-pos pengamanan. Petugas akan melakukan patroli secara terus menerus sehingga dapat mengantisipasi kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan atau tindak kejahatan di jalur tersebut.
Sosialisasi kepada masyarakat Polres Mojokerto melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya keselamatan berkendara di jalur-jalur rawan laka. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui media sosial, surat kabar, radio, dan televisi.
Dengan melakukan revitalisasi jalur rawan laka tersebut, diharapkan dapat mengurangi jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas di Mojokerto selama Operasi Ketupat 2023. Polres Mojokerto juga mengimbau kepada seluruh pengendara untuk mematuhi aturan lalu lintas dan mengutamakan keselamatan dalam berkendara.(Red)
