Tangerang – Polres Metro Tangerang Kota akan menerapkan tilang secara elektronik dengan menggunakan teknologi electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) sebagai upaya mencegah terjadinya pungutan liar (pungli) oleh oknum polisi. Akan ada sebanyak enam unit E-TLE yang akan dioperasikan di wilayah hukum (wilkum) Polres Metro Tangerang Kota.
“Sesuai dengan arahan Kapolri, Insya Allah 2023 ada ETLE, jumlahnya enam unit,” kata Kasat Lantas Polres Metro Tangerang Kota Kompol Joko Sembodo kepada media, Rabu (26/10/2022).
Kompol Joko mengatakan, enam unit ETLE tersebut akan ada di enam titik, diantaranya yakni kawasan Jalan Daan Mogot, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Kebon Nanas, dan Jatiuwung. Saat ini, pihaknya masih melakukan kesiapan dalam penerapan tilang elektronik, terutama berkoordinasi dengan Pemerintah Kota Tangerang.“Kami kerjasama dengan Pemkot terkait anggarannya. (Realisasi penerapannya) masih menunggu Pemkot, kami upayakan secepatnya,” tuturnya.
Penerapan tilang secara elektronik dinilai sebagai salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah pungli oleh oknum polisi dalam penilangan manual yang berjalan selama ini. Dengan demikian, hal itu dapat menjawab keresahan masyarakat mengenai pungli yang lumrah terjadi di jalanan.
“Tilang manual sudah ditarik semua, tidak ada anggota yang pegang. Iya (penerapan tilang secara elektronik) sangat efektif karena tidak bersentuhan langsung, pelanggar bisa langsung transfer ke bank untuk dendanya,” jelasnya.
Diketahui sebelumnya, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menginstruksikan Korps Lalu Lintas (Korlantas) Polri mengoptimalkan tilang elektronik untuk mencegah terjadinya pungli oleh oknum polisi melalui tilang manual. Instruksi tersebut tertuang dalam Surat Telegram Kapolri Nomor: ST/2264/X/HUM.3.4.5./2022 tanggal 18 Oktober 2022, yang ditandatangani oleh Kepala Korlantas Polri Irjen Pol Firman Shantyabudi.
Pada Selasa (25/10/2022), Polda Metro Jaya resmi menghentikan tilang manual terhadap para pengendara yang melanggar lalu lintas sehingga seluruh pengendara yang melanggar bakal ditindak secara elektronik.
Direktur Lalu Lintas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman mengatakan, ETLE Mobile untuk masing-masing polres di Polda Metro Jaya bakal didistribusikan pada awal Desember 2022 mendatang. Nantinya dengan adanya ETLE Mobile ini, setiap pelanggaran yang tertangkap kamera ETLE bakal diidentifikasi secara digital oleh petugas.
Selanjutnya petugas akan langsung mencetak surat tilang dan dikirimkan ke alamat pelanggar melalui jasa kantor pos.“Dengan adanya ETLE Mobile ini sudah tidak ada penilangan manual seterusnya. Ini sudah kami laksanakan. Kami sudah siap untuk melaksanakan perintah Bapak Kapolri,” tutur Kombes Latif..(red)
