Labuhan batu – Polres Labuhanbatu, menggelar Operasi Patuh Toba 2023 Kota Rantauprapat yang masuk Zona Kawasan Tertib Lalulintas (11/7/2023).
Operasi patuh toba-2023 yang digelar ini menyasar kepengendara mobil yang tidak menggunakan Safety belt atau sabuk pengaman, melawan arus lalulintas, menggunakan handphone saat berkendara, berboncengan lebih dari dua orang, tidak menggunakan helm stadart SNI.
Selain itu, Operasi Patuh Toba juga menyasar kepada pemilik sepeda motor belum taat membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor, serta pengemudi kendaraan dibawah umur.
Kapolres Labuhanbatu AKBP James H Hutajulu SIK, SH, MH, MK melalui Kasatlantas Polres Labuhanbatu, AKP Muhamad Ainul Yaqin SIK, MH mengatakan bahwa tujuan pelaksanaannya Ops patuh Toba Tahun 2023 untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan dan disiplin masyarakat dalam berlalu lintas serta menurunkan angka fatalitas korban kecelakaan dan pelanggaran lalu lintas
“Ops patuh Toba 2023 ini lebih mengendapkan langkah pencegahan dengan cara memberikan himbauan, teguran serta edukasi kepada masyarakat Labuhanbatu khususnya kepada para pengendara kendaraan bermotor dan kepada para pelajar untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran keselamatan dalam berlalu lintas,” terang AKP Ainul Yaqin.
“Dalam pelaksanaan Ops Patuh Toba 2023 ini, ada beberapa warga pengendara mendapat imbauan serta teguran humanis karena kedapatan tidak menggunakan helm berstandar SNI saat berboncengan, dan hasilnya petugas memberikan blanko teguran Humanis sebanyak 64 lembar,” jelasnya
