Bali – Polres Karangasem, Personel di Pos II Pelabuhan Padangbai melaksanakan giat pemeriksaan dan pengawasan yang bertujuan untuk memastikan kelengkapan identitas orang dan dokumen kendaraan yang datang dari Lembar, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan sebagai bagian dari upaya pengamanan dan pengawasan di Pelabuhan Padangbai. Rabu (7/6) dinihari.
Dalam giat tersebut, dipimpin oleh lPTU I Wyn Sumerti, S.H., sebagai pawas, serta melibatkan AIPDA I Km Pujana dan AIPDA I Gst Lanang Sudiarta sebagai anggota tim. Mereka melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap kendaraan R2, R4, R6, serta identitas orang yang datang melalui Pelabuhan Padangbai setelah KMP Rama Giri Nusa sandar di Dermaga II.
Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan meliputi kelengkapan surat identitas kendaraan, surat identitas orang, serta barang dan muatan yang dibawa oleh masing-masing kendaraan, baik itu boks terbuka maupun tertutup. Selain itu, petugas juga mengingatkan kepada para sopir untuk tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan dan peraturan yang telah ditetapkan.
Hingga saat ini, hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan bahwa tidak ditemukan adanya pelanggaran maupun dugaan tindak pidana yang mengarah pada barang-barang ilegal ataupun kendaraan yang melanggar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keamanan dan ketertiban di Pelabuhan Padangbai tetap terjaga dengan baik.
Selama kegiatan berlangsung, situasi di pelabuhan terbilang aman dan lancar, dengan tidak adanya antrean yang signifikan. Kedua dermaga juga tetap beroperasi sebagaimana mestinya, menjaga kelancaran arus transportasi di wilayah tersebut.
Pemeriksaan dan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh personel di Pos II Pelabuhan Padangbai menunjukkan komitmen mereka dalam menjaga keamanan dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan di pelabuhan.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan mampu mencegah adanya pelanggaran dan memastikan bahwa penggunaan pelabuhan dilakukan dengan aman dan tertib.
Polres Karangasem terus berupaya dalam menjalankan tugas pengamanan di wilayahnya untuk memberikan perlindungan dan keamanan kepada masyarakat.(Redaksiswanara)
