Jakarta – Polres Metro Jakarta Timur menyalurkan bantuan air bersih ke daerah Slum Area Jl. Asem Nirbaya Rt.015/Rw.002 Kel. Pinang Ranti Kec. Makasar Jakarta Timur, Jumat siang (27/10/2023).
Penyaluran air bersih kepada warga slum area yang dilanda kemarau dan terdampak kekurangan air, dilakukan sebagai bentuk kepedulian Polri dalam membantu masyarakat yang kurang mampu.
Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur Kombes Pol. Leonardus Simarmata mengatakan, sebagai anggota Polri harus selalu berada di tengah masyarakat, agat bisa mengetahui kondisi di lapangan.
” Masyarakat membutuhkan air bersih untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Untuk itu puluhan ribu liter air bersih kita salurkan untuk membantu meringankan beban masyarakat.” Ungkapnya.
Ia menambahkan Pendistribusian air bersih oleh Polres Metro Jakarta Timur kepada warga sebanyak 15.000 liter ini merupakan wujud kepedulian Polri kepada masyarakat.
“Semoga dengan bantuan air bersih ini bisa meringankan masyarakat akan kebutuhan air bersih, karena ini merupakan salah satu tugas Polri untuk Membantu dan Melayani Masyarakat yang Sedang Mengalami Krisis Air Bersih.” jelasnya.
Pendistribusian Air Bersih Guna mendukung Kebutuhan Dasar Masyarakat dan Tindakan Kemanusiaan ini merupakan Salah Satu Komitmen Polri Untuk menjaga Keamanan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat.
Kapolres pun berpesan kepada warga agar tetap menjaga kesehatan di cuaca panas yang ekstrim ini dan tetap menggunakan masker karena dampak polusi di Jakarta.
” Saat ini kita masih dalam situasi anomali cuaca Yg cukup ekstrim serta polusi udara, sehingga diharapkan pada waktu tertentu diharapkan warga menggunakan masker.” Pesan Leo.
Sementara itu Kasipem Pinang Ranti mengapresiasi dan menyatakan trimakasih kepada Polres Metro Jakarta Timur Karena dinilai merespon secara cepat kondisi yang terjadi dimasyarakat.
“Alhamdulilah, masyarakat bisa terbantu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih yang saat ini menjadi kebutuhan yang langka dan Semoga pendistribusian air bersih dari Kepolisian dapat dilaksanakan secara rutin karena kami sangat memerlukan.” ungkap Hudianto selaku kasipem pinang Ranti.
