Bantul – Kepolisian Resor Bantul menggelar forum silaturahmi kamtibmas yang dihadiri oleh jajaran Forkopimda Bantul, sejumlah tokoh, laskar, sayap dan underbow partai politik, Kamis (9/11/2023) malam.
Acara tersebut digelar di Aula Wira Pratama Polres Bantul.
Adapun tujuan digelarnya acara tersebut adalah sebagai upaya proaktif Polres Bantul dalam menjaga situasi keamanan di wilayah Kabupaten Bantul, terutama menjelang pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024.
Kapolres Bantul AKBP Michael R. Risakotta SH SIK mengatakan bahwa forum silaturahmi kamtibmas sebagai wujud nyata Polres Bantul untuk memperkuat pemeliharaan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas).
Melalui forum ini, Polres Bantul berharap dapat menghasilkan gagasan serta mencapai kesamaan persepsi tentang strategi pemeliharaan dan pengelolaan keamanan yang efektif di wilayah hukumnya.
“Silaturahmi seperti ini sangat perlu dilakukan, yaitu untuk menyinergikan dan menyelaraskan tujuan guna menciptakan situasi yang aman serta kondusif di wilayah Bantul,” katanya
Lebih lanjut, pihaknya bersama Bupati dan Dandim 0279/Bantul akan menjaga wilayah Bantul ini aman dan damai dalam kegiatan Pemilu tahun 2024.
“Tugas pokok saya hanya itu, karena kita tetap warga Bantul, dan keamanan adalah tanggung jawab saya sebagai Kepala Kepolisian Resor Bantul,” ujarnya.
Kapolres mengajak para laskar agar turut proaktif dalam menjaga kamtibmas dengan saling menjalin komunikasi.
“Selain itu, para tokoh di Kabupaten Bantul diharapkan dapat aktif menyuarakan pesan-pesan kamtibmas untuk memastikan pemilu berjalan damai,” imbuh Kapolres.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kapolres juga menegaskan bahwa Polri menjunjung tinggi netralitas, dengan demikian Polri bisa tetap menjaga profesionalisme dan dedikasi dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas kamtibmas yang berkaitan dengan pengamanan Pemilu 2024.
“Sekali lagi, forum silaturahmi kamtibmas ini menjadi bukti nyata komitmen Polres Bantul untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan damai selama Pemilu, serta mengajak semua pihak untuk bekerja bersama-sama demi suksesnya Pemilu 2024 di Kabupaten Bantul,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
