Banjarnegara – Polres Banjarnegara melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan himbauan tentang Operasi Keselamatan Lalu Lintas Candi 2023 di Wilayah Banjarnegara, Minggu (12/2/2023).
Kapolres Banjarnegara AKBP Hendri Yulianto SIK, MH melalui Kasatlantas AKP R. Manggala Agung Sri Mahardjo, SIK, MH CPHR mengatakan, sosialisasi dilakukan dengan pemberian leaflet, brosur dan striker tertib berlalu lintas kepada masyarakat.
“Petugas mengimbau pengguna jalan agar selalu berhati-hati menjaga keselamatan diri dan pengguna jalan lain dengan tertib lalu lintas karena keselamatan yang pertama dan utama,” katanya.
Ia menjelaskan, operasi tersebut digelar selama 14 hari terhitung mulai tanggal 7 sampai dengan 20 Februari 2023 dengan tema “Keselamatan Berlalu Lintas yang Utama dan Pertama”.
“Operasi ini mengedepankan giat preemtif 40% dan preventif 40% serta di dukung giat penegakan hukum 20% dengan etle statis dan mobile serta teguran guna mewujudkan kamseltibcarlantas yang aman, nyaman dan selamat,” katanya.
Kegiatan preemtif, lanjut dia, meliputi penerangan keliling melalui media, tempat rawan laka, penyebaran spanduk, leflet, sticker, baliho, adapun preventif pengaturan, pengawalan, patroli, penjagaan.
“Sedangkan penegakan hukum menyasar pelanggaran yang kasat mata dan menimbulkan perhatian publik, balap liar, tata cara pemuatan, kendaraan tidak sesuai persyaratan teknis dan laik jalan, tidak menggunakan helm, melawan arus dan pelanggar lalu lintas yang tidak tercakup kamera ETLE,” sambung dia.
Ia berharap, adanya kegiatan ini masyarakat memahami dan mendukung giat pelaksanaan Operasi Keselamatan Lalu Lintas Candi 2023.
“Bisa meningkatkan kesadaran dan kedisiplinan masyarakat untuk mematuhi tata tertib berlalu lintas saat berkendara sehingga dapat menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas khususnya di Kabupaten Banjarnegara,” ucapnya.
