SLEMAN – Bhabinkamtibmas Kalurahan Maguwoharjo Sleman Aiptu Zaenudin dan Aiptu Waskita melakukan patroli rutin di sejumlah tempat yang dianggap vital dengan sasaran pertokoan dan pusat perbelanjaan. Hal ini lantaran banyaknya masyarakat yang hendak membeli kebutuhan sehari-hari.
Kasi Humas Polresta Sleman AKP Edy Widaryanta saat dikonfirmasi membenarkan bahwa personel Polresta Sleman secara intensif melaksanakan giat patroli dalam rangka mencegah terjadinya tindak kejahatan guna memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada masyarakat, terutama yang berada di pusat perbelanjaan.
“Kami secara masif melakukan patroli di tempat perbelanjaan dan pasar tradisional mengingat tempat tersebut rawan terjadinya tindak kejahatan,” katanya
Langkah ini diambil agar masyarakat merasa aman dan nyaman ketika dalam melakukan aktifitas belanja dengan kehadiran Polisi ditengah-tengah masyarakat.
Kendati demikian AKP Edy Widaryanta menghimbau kepada masyarakat agar selalu waspada dan jangan sampai lengah sehingga memberi kesempatan kepada pelaku kejahatan.
“Selain memonitor langsung, personil juga berdialog dengan petugas keamanan (Satpam) agar selalu meningkatkan kewaspadaan dengan memasang CCTV untuk keamanan tambahan,” sambungnya.
“Kami tidak bosan-bosannya untuk mengingatkan pembeli maupun pedagang agar selalu waspada apabila sedang melakukan transaksi jual beli, hati-hati terhadap penipuan dan uang palsu, apabila terjadi sesuatu yang mencurigakan segera hubungi kantor polisi terdekat melalui call center 110,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
