Jayapura.- Kepolisian Resor Dogiyai menyelidiki kasus percobaan pembakaran kantor PLN Monamani yang bertempat di Jalan Tokapo kampung Mauwa, Distrik Kamu, Kabupaten Dogiyai, Prov. Papua Tengah. Kejadian berawal pada Senin (20/03) sekitar pukul 04.30 WIT.
Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Papua Kombes. Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo menerangkan, awalnya saksi mendengar suara anjing menggongong sebanyak dua kali.
Karena merasa hal itu biasa, kemudian saksi mengabaikannya.
“Sekitar pukul 07.30 wit saksi melihat adanya barang bukti yang digunakan untuk membakar kantor PLN Dogiyai tersebut,” ungkap Kabid Humas, Senin (20/3/23).
Lebih lanjut, Kabid Humas mengatakan. setelah menemukan barang bukti,
saksi melaporkan temuan tersebut ke rekan kerjanya.
“Adapun barang bukti yang diamankan 3 (tiga) plastik bening yang berisikan bensin atau pertalite, sembilan biji korek api dan potongan obat nyamuk,” ujar Kabidhumas.
Kabidhumas menjelaskan, ruang panel tersebut tidak memiliki pintu, sehingga masyarakat bisa dengan leluasa masuk untuk melakukan aksinya.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Dogiyai Kompol Sarraju mengatakan, saat ini Sat Reskrim Polres Dogiyai masih mendalami kasus percobaan pembakaran kantor PLN Dogiyai.
“Saat ini anggota Polres Dogiyai melakukan patroli secara bergantian terutama di areal PLN Monamani untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan,” jelasnya.(Redaksiswanara)
