Bekasi – Kepolisian belum dapat memastikan penyebab kebakaran toko material sekaligus rumah tinggal di Kampung Ceper RT02 RW01 Desa Sukasari, Kecamatan Serangbaru, Kabupaten Bekasi.
Adapun peristiwa naas tersebut menyebabkan ibu dan dua orang anaknya meninggal dunia. Penyidik masih meminta keterangan sejumlah saksi yang melihat awal kejadian.
“Ada dua saksi yang pertama kali melihat dan mengetahui. Penyebab belum bisa diketahui, masih proses penyelidikan,” ujar Kapolres Metro Bekasi (Kombes. Pol. Twedi Aditys Bennyahdi).
Ia menambahkan, menurut keterangan saksi, pemilik toko material sempat berteriak minta tolong sekira pukul 03.15 WIB.
Sementara itu, masyarakat yang mendengar teriakan tersebut pun langsung bereaksi dengan berusaha menolong korban.
“Kami dapat dari keterangan anggota dan saksi, pemilik rumah atas nama Amin teriak minta tolong didengar oleh warga. Dan warga menggedor pintu tetangga lain yang kemudian ditolong,” terangnya.
Menurutnya, penghuni toko material sekaligus rumah tinggal itu berjumlah enam orang. Para korban adalah satu keluarga yang menghuni lantai dua bangunan itu.
“Ada enam, tiga selamat, tiga lainnya tidak dapat ditolong,” ungkapnya.
Sekarang, korban selamat dirawat di salah satu rumah sakit di Cikarang dan di RSUD Kabupaten Bekasi.
