“Benar, telah terjadi dugaan pencurian di sebuah warung harian di Balai Gurah, Ampek Angkek saat kaum muslim melaksanakan ibadah Jumat, saat ini kami mengejar pelaku dengan proses penyelidikan,” ujarnya.
Ia mengatakan petugas kepolisian telah mendatangi Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) dan mengumpulkan bukti serta keterangan saksi.
“Tersangka melakukan pengancaman kepada penjaga warung dengan kapak, dalam rekaman kamera pengintai dia memakai helm dan masuk melalui bagian belakang warung,” ujarnya.
Dalam aksinya, pelaku mengancam penjaga warung atas nama Jannah (22) dan meminta uang dalam kotak kasir diberikan seluruhnya.
“Total kerugian Rp 4,5 juta, uang itu dilarikan pelaku yang ciri-cirinya sudah kami dapati, diduga ia tidak sendirian,” jelasnya.
Kapolsek menegaskan kepolisian akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin mengungkap pelaku pencurian dengan bekerja sama dengan Satuan Reskrim Polresta Bukittinggi.
“Kami berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk mengungkap kasus ini dan kami minta masyarakat tetap berhati-hati dan antisipasi setiap tindak kejahatan, apa pun informasi kami terima agar wilayah hukum Polresta Bukittinggi tetap aman,” jelasnya.
