SLEMAN – Polda DIY menggelar Pelatihan Sistem Keamanan Kota dalam rangka pengamanan Pemilu, Rabu 11 Oktober 2023
Bertempat di Stadion Maguwoharjo, kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Kapolda DIY Irjen Pol Suwondo Nainggolan, S.I.K., M.H., Wakapolda DIY Brigjen Pol R. Slamet Santoso, S.H, S.I.K., Pejabat Utama Polda DIY, Kapolres/Ta, serta Unsur Forkopimda DIY.
Kegiatan tersebut mensimulasikan sistem keamanan kota menjelang kampanye Pemilu 2024. Peragaan pertama menampilkan pengendara motor yang melakukan aktivitasnya seperti biasa. Keadaan ini ditampilkan untuk memperagakan kegiatan menjelang Pemilu 2023-2024 yang berlangsung selama 220 hari dan secara bertahap.
Peragaan kedua menampilkan kampanye terbuka, di mana petugas Samapta mulai berjaga-jaga di lokasi kampanye. Petugas juga melakukan pengamanan kepada capres.
Sementara itu peragaan ketiga menampilkan suasana di KPU setelah selesai melakukan rekapitulasi suara. Ditampilkan juga peragaan kelompok warga yang tidak setuju dengan hasil perhitungan suara dan melakukan aksi unjuk rasa dan memaksa masuk ke dalam KPU.
Kemudian Satuan Polisi datang untuk mengamankan pengunjuk rasa dan disusul dengan peragaan negosiator untuk bernegosiasi dengan para pengunjuk rasa. Massa mulai tidak kondusif dan kemudian petugas mulai melakukan pengamanan dengan Unit Polisi satwa K9 serta melakukan penembakan water canon untuk mengkondisikan keadaan massa.
Dalam peragaan ini ditampilkan jelas kolaborasi antara satuan fungsi kepolisian dengan berbagai instansi seperti TNI beserta seluruh jajaran penting lainnya. Dengan demikian, bisa dipastikan aparat nantinya dapat menjaga keamanan serta ketertiban menjelang dan saat Pemilu berlangsung.(Redaksiswanara)
