Bantul – Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Bantul menggelar pertunjukan Kethoprak Bhayangkara, di halaman depan Pasar Bantul, Selasa (26/9/2023) malam.
Kegiatan ini terselenggara atas kerja sama dengan Forum Komunikasi Kethoprak Bantul (FKKB) dan Kundha Kabudayaan Bantul.
Pementasan ini menjadi hiburan bagi warga masyarakat Bantul. Kegembiraan nampak di wajah mereka yang menyaksikan jalannya maupun adegan demi adegan yang tak luput dari humor dan edukasi tentang persoalan sosial dan Kamtibmas.
Cerita atau lakon ketoprak kali ini merupakam carangan (karangan) berjudul Jaga Warga. Berisi pesan-pesan edukasi membuat kenyamanan dan keamanan warga maupun lingkungan.
Pentas kethoprak mataraman kali ini menjadi tontonan cukup menarik bagi ratusan penonton. Sesekali muncul pula dialog khas kepolisian, yang justru menjadi daya tarik tersendiri dan mengundang gelak tawa para penontonnya.
“Acara Kethoprak Bhayangkara ini selain untuk melestarikan kebudayaan khususnya dari Kabupaten Bantul, juga sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan Kamtibmas kepada warga masyarakat Kabupaten Bantul,” ungkap Kapolres Bantul, AKBP Michael R Risakotta dalam kesempatannya.
Kapolres berharap, melalui kebudayaan masyarakat tertarik untuk menyaksikan dan menyimak karena di balik skenario cerita disisipkan pesan-pesan Kamtibmas dalam rangka mencegah maupun memberikan informasi jenis-jenis jenis-jenis kejahatan terbaru
Sementara itu, Wakil Bupati Bantul, Joko B Purnomo selaku sutradara Kethoprak Bhayangkara menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada Kapolres Bantul berserta jajarannya atas terselenggaranya pertunjukan tersebut.
“Ternyata Pak Kapolres beserta seluruh jajarannya anggota Polres Bantul, Kapolsek-Kapolsek bisa bermain kethoprak, walaupun latihannya cuma sekali, tetapi sangat bisa menguasai pementasan yang sangat luar biasa,” puji dia.
Tentunya hal ini, lanjut Joko, akan menjadi suatu penyemangat untuk masyarakat dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul dalam melestarikan budaya, khusunya kethoprak.
“Tentunya kita, Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul sangat berterima kasih kepada bapak Kapolres dan seluruh jajarannya sampai dengan Polsek yang sudah memberikan hiburan kepada masyarakat, terima kasih,” tandasnya.
