Medan – Kepolisian Daerah Sumatera Utara (Sumut) bersama dengan Polres jajaran berhasil menangkap 1.058 pelaku penyalahgunaan narkoba dalam kurun waktu 22 hari dengan berbagai barang bukti turut disita.
“Dari 1.058 tersangka, 263 orang adalah pemakai dan 795 sisanya merupakan bandar,” ujarnya.
Dalam kesempatannya, Kapolda Sumut menyebutkan ke-1.058 tersangka yang berhasil diamankan itu merupakan hasil pengungkapan 768 kasus narkoba di seluruh wilayah Sumut.
“Itu merupakan pengungkapan kasus narkoba yang dilakukan Polda Sumut dan Polres jajaran selama 22 hari mulai 12 September hingga 3 Oktober 2023,” ujarnya.
Mantan Asops Kapolri tersebut mengatakan bersama tersangka juga diamankan barang bukti sabu 75,97 kg, ganja kering 114,90 kg, pohon ganja 51 batang dan pil ekstasi 998 butir.
petugas juga menyita barang bukti berupa uang tunai Rp122.966.000, sepeda motor 138 unit, mobil 15 unit, handphone 440 unit, timbangan elektrik 109 unit, dan alat isap sabu 113 buah.
“Polda Sumut dan Polres jajaran juga mengungkap home industri ekstasi di Tanjung Balai yang dikendalikan penghuni lembaga pemasyarakatan,” katanya.(Redaksi Swanara)
