Lampung – Polda Lampung berhasil selamatkan enam wanita yang hendak dipekerjakan atau jadi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) ke luar negeri secara ilegal. Para korban pun diimingi bekerja sebagai asisten rumah tangga (ART) di negara Malaysia.
Keenam wanita tersebut antara lain berinisial TS (33), A (33), FA (39), AW (39),R (39) dan NY (35).
“Ada enam orang perempuan yang diduga calon pekerja migran Indonesia (PMI) berhasil diselamatkan,” jelasnya.
Pengungkapan kasus itu diawali adanya warga yang curiga dengan aktivitas disebuah rumah di Dusun V, RT 001, RW 001, Terbanggi Besar, Lampung Tengah. Rumah tersebut dijadikan tempat penampungan sementara para PMI sebelum diberangkatkan ke luar negeri.
“Atas laporan tersebut, personel Subdit 4 Renakta Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung langsung mendatangi serta mengecek ke dalam lokasi, dan berhasil membawa enam orang calon PMI ke Mapolda Lampung,” tambahnya.
Selain mengamankan para korban, polisi juga menetapkan satu orang sebagai tersangka berinisial IPS (39). Dalam aksinya, tersangka menawarkan para korban untuk bekerja di Malaysia sebagai ART dengan dijanjikan mendapat gaji sebesar 1.500 Ringgit atau Rp 5 juta rupiah.
“Korban diminta untuk melengkapi administrasi, kemudian keenam korban diberangkatkan dari Lampung Tengah menggunakan bus menuju Kampung Rambutan, Jakarta Timur, lalu menggunakan taksi ke Bandara Soekarno Hatta untuk selanjutnya langsung menuju Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kemudian, korban dipekerjakan di Malaysia sebagai ART,” ungkapnya.
Para tersangka dijerat Pasal 69 juncto 81 UU RI Nomor 18 tahun 2017 tentang Perlindungan PMI dengan ancaman hukuman 10 tahun penjara dan denda sebesar Rp 15 miliar atau Pasal 2 Ayat (1) UU RI Nomor 21 tahun 2007 tentang pemberantasan tindak pidana perdagangan orang dengan ancaman pidana minimal 3 tahun maksimal 15 tahun dan pidana denda paling sedikit Rp 120 juta.(Redaksiswanara)
