Batam – Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Kepulauan Riau melalui Satuan Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum) berhasil menangkap seorang pria berinisial PIJ (42) hingga ke Bekasi, Jawa Barat setelah melakukan aksi perampokan uang sebesar Rp190 juta di Batam, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
“Tersangka ini melakukan aksinya pada hari Jumat (25/8), dia sempat melarikan diri keluar kota sampai akhirnya berhasil kami tangkap di Bekasi, Jawa Barat pada Kamis (31/8),” ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan, kasus ini bermula pada saat tersangka disuruh mengantar korban berinisial JN untuk menyetor uang ke bank sebesar Rp190 juta menggunakan mobil boks. Namun, di perjalanan, tersangka mengeluarkan pisau dan langsung menodongkan ke korban.
Sempat terjadi perlawanan dari korban, namun tersangka berhasil memojokkan korban saat berada di tempat yang sepi. “Sesampainya di tempat yang sepi, tersangka menghentikan mobil boks tersebut, lalu mendorong korban keluar mobil sambil menarik tas korban yang berisi uang sebanyak Rp190 juta,” ujarnya.
Usai mengambil uang ratusan juta tersebut, tersangka membawa mobil tersebut dan meninggalkannya di salah satu kompleks perumahan dan langsung melarikan diri keluar kota.
Setelah kejadian tersebut, korban langsung membuat laporan ke Polda Kepulauan Riau dan langsung ditindaklanjuti.
“Dari laporan korban itu dilakukan pengembangan. Anggota Ditreskrimum Polda Kepri menerima informasi bahwa tersangka telah melarikan diri ke Jakarta. Kemudian melakukan pengejaran terhadap PIJ dan mengamankan tersangka di Bekasi,” jelasnya.
Dari tangan pelaku, Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum berhasil menyita beberapa barang bukti di antaranya pisau yang digunakan pelaku dan uang sisa hasil perampokan sebanyak Rp7.280.000. Selain itu polisi juga menyita jam tangan yang dibeli pelaku dan satu buah telepon genggam.(Redaksiswanara)
