Palembang.- Kepolisian Daerah Sumatera Selatan (Polda Sumsel) berkomitmen terus memerangi narkoba dengan pengungkapan kasus, penangkapan tersangka, dan penyitaan barang bukti narkoba untuk menyelamatkan generasi anak bangsa dari bahaya narkoba.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel, Kombes. Pol. Drs. Supriadi, M.M., mengatakan dalam sepekan Polda Sumsel berhasil mengungkap 30 kasus narkoba, dan menangkap 38 tersangka.
“Dari para tersangka yang berhasil ditangkap, sebanyak 35 orang tersangka merupakan pengedar narkoba, dan tiga tersangka lainnya merupakan pemakai narkoba,” jelas Kabid Humas , Senin (13/2/2023).
Menurut Kabid Humas, penangkapan puluhan tersangka narkoba tersebut, merupakan upaya untuk memberantas peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba.
Kabid Humas menjelaskan dari ungkap kasus yang dilakukan tersebut sejumlah barang bukti narkoba yang berhasil disita adalah 3 kg sabu, ganja kering seberat 22,44 gram, dan pil ekstasi sebanyak lima butir.
Dari pengungkapan kasus dan barang bukti narkoba yang berhasil disita pada minggu kedua Februari 2023 tersebut, bahwa aparat kepolisian telah menyelamatkan sekitar 18.448 anak bangsa.(Red)
