Ikut andil pada gelaran tersebut, Polwan perwakilan dari Polda Riau mengikuti konferensi Polwan international tersebut. Tim dari Polda Riau dipimpin oleh Kabidkeu Polda Riau Kombes Pol Retno Dwiyanti SE serta 8 personel polwan Polda Riau lainnya, yaitu AKBP
Ani Sugiarti SIK, KP Vera Taurensa SS MH, KP Aslely Farida Turnip SIK, KP Birgitta Atvina Wijaya SH SIK, AKP Yuna Irpa SE, Ipda Yulanda Avlaleri STrK, Ipda Sri Restu Fajarwati S.Psi dan Briptu Fella Afrilia SH.
Ketua Tim delegasi Polda Riau Kombes Pol Retno Dwiyanti mengatakan acara yang dibuka resmi oleh Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo tersebut juga dihadiri oleh Ibu Asuh Polwan RI Ny. Juliati Sigit Prabowo beserta pejabat utama Mabes Polri, perwakilan aparat penegak hukum dari negara sahabat, serta perwakilan Polwan dari mancanegara, dan perwakilan Polwan RI baik yang dimabes dan di jajaran Polda.
“Jumlah keseluruhan peserta yang mengikuti acara pembukaan dan seluruh rangkaian acara konferensi sebanyak 980 peserta, rinciannya adalah yang mengikuti secara langsung dihadiri peserta internasional sebanyak 39 peserta dari 12 negara dan 2 organisasi internasional serta dari Indonesia sebanyak 407 peserta dengan mengikuti menerapkan protokol kesehatan secara ketat,” jelas Kabidkeu Polda Riau.
“Selain itu dihadiri secara online oleh peserta internasional sebanyak 235 peserta yang terdiri dari 39 negara dan Indonesia sebanyak 299 peserta,” sambungnya.
Sehari sebelum dibukanya the 58th IAWP, dimeriahkan dengan gelaran “Parade Of Nations” yang merupakan salah satu tradisi yang selalu dilaksanakan selama 58 tahun dalam rangkaian kegiatan International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
Peserta Parade yang juga para Polwan RI dan Manacanegara tersebut menggunakan pakaian kebesarannya masing masing. Polwan RI dengan berbagai varian seragam yang berlaku di lingkungan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia, dan turut disemarakkan tampilnya Tim Marching Band dari SMAK Ignatius Loyola, SMP Arnoldus, dan Pembawa Bendera yakni Para Pemuda Pemudi Paguyuban di wilayah Manggarai Barat.
