Surabaya – Direktorat Lalu Lintas (Ditlantas) Polda Jatim membentuk dan menginstruksikan kepada para Polres jajaran untuk membentuk Tim Urai untuk menangani kemacetan pada jalur arteri sepanjang arus mudik dan balik Lebaran Idul Fitri 2023.
Dirlantas Polda Jatim Kombes Pol. Muhammad Taslim Chairuddin, S.I.K.,M.H., menjelaskan, tim urai dibentuk untuk menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas hingga mengurai kemacetan saat mudik dan balik Lebaran 2023. Karena dari data yang dihimpun, akan ada sekitar 23 juta orang yang masuk ke Jawa Timur.
“Makanya, kami membagi jalur mudik menjadi dua yaitu jalur arteri dan jalur tol. Namun, kami juga tidak mempersoalkan perihal jalur tol sebab jumlah pemudik yang tersisa hanya 19 persen. Justru yang menjadi persoalan ini jalur arteri, setelah keluar tol seakan-akan bottleneck atau kemacetan. Tapi kami sudah menyampaikan kepada jajaran supaya dibentuk Tim Urai,” jelas Kombes Taslim, di Mapolda Jatim, Rabu (12/4/2023).
Ia mengaku, pihaknya juga menyiapkan jalur alternatif salah satunya untuk one way melalui jalur tol. Jika diperlukan, one way mulai KM 54. Sehingga sebelum masuk ke Jawa Timur atau 2 kilo sebelum perbatasan Ngawi sudah disiapkan one way sampai masuk ke Surabaya.
“Untuk itu, kami meminta partisipasi masyarakat untuk di lapangannya nanti. Sehingga ada pemakluman, mengingat jumlah penduduk di Jatim sekitar 40 juta jiwa yang apabila ditambah 20 juta jiwa, maka ada 60 juta jiwa yang akan memadati Jatim dengan mobilitasnya,” ungkapnya.
Selain kemacetan, pihaknya juga akan fokus untuk menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas. Diketahui, data Anev Laka Lantas di 2021 tercatat sebanyak 503 kasus dan naik menjadi 836 kasus pada 2022.
Di 2023 diperkirakan terdapat peningkatan arus sampai dengan 30 persen jumlah pemudik, maka ancaman peningkatan kecelakaan lalu lintas pun semakin tinggi.
“Kami sudah meminta Jasa Marga supaya di titik-titik rawan dipasang speed trap. Karena di titik rawan di jalan tol, pengemudi kecepatan tinggi dan cuaca gelap dan lampu penerangan kurang,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
