Jambi – Kepolisian berhasil mengamankan dua truk yang mengangkut 19.000 liter atau 19 ton Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) ilegal di Kecamatan Mestong, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi.
“Dua truk yang mengangkut BBM ilegal tersebut diketahui berasal dari Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan menuju Provinsi Jambi,” ungkapnya.
Kepolisian awalnya mengamankan satu unit truk tangki modifikasi yang mengangkut BBM ilegal yang bermuatan BBM ilegal jenis bensin olahan sebanyak 10.000 liter atau 10 ton. Truk ini diamankan di Jalan Lintas Palembang-Jambi, Kelurahan Tempino, Kecamatan Mestong, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi bersama dengan sopir berinisial HSS serta barang bukti.
Ditreskrimsus Polda Jambi juga mengamankan truk dengan tangki modifikasi bermuatan BBM ilegal jenis solar olahan dari satu angkutan lainnya. Truk pengangkut BBM ilegal jenis solar olahan sebanyak 9.000 liter atau 9 ton yang dikendarai pria berinisial TNS ini ditangkap saat melintas dari Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin menuju Kecamatan Mestong, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi.
Secara total, BBM ilegal yang diamankan sebanyak 19 ton dari dua truk tangki modifikasi tersebut.
Kedua sopir beserta truk yang membawa BBM ilegal itu sudah diamankan untuk keterangan lebih lanjut.(Redaksiswanara)
