Padang Pariaman — Personel Polsek Batang Anai, Polres Padang Pariaman, Polda Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) sampai hari ini masih melaksanakan giat rutin patroli ke gereja yang berada di wilayah hukumnya.
Kata Kapolsek Batang Anai, Iptu MA Simatupang SH, patroli rutin yang di laksanakan oleh personelnya guna meberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada jemaat yang sedang melaksanakan ibadah.
“Dalam kegiatan patroli tersebut bertujuan untuk dapat bersilahturahmi yang baik kepada masyarakat dan tokoh agama, yang mana akan terciptanya kamtibmas yang aman,” kata Simatupang.
Ia pun mencontohkan seperti kegiatan yang dilakukan Aipda Ghafuur Ramadhan (Piket Bhabinkamtibmas) dan Bripka Ade Syahputra (Ps KSPK) pada Minggu pagi 14 Mei 2023, Gereja Kristus Bangkit, dengan pastor Alfon SX.
Sementara Aipda Ghafuur Ramadhan kepada Pionir mengatakan, ibadah mingguan itu diikuti sekitar 85 orang jemaat, yang mengangkat kotbahnya dengan tema “Yesus Adalah Jalan, Kebenaran dan Hidup Kita”.
