Semarang – Kejadian pencurian kendaraan bermotor roda 2 (dua) kembali terjadi di wilayah Kec. Ungaran Timur Kab. Semarang. Kali ini dialami seorang pekerja swasta bernama Erfan Masrukhan (20th) warga Kec. Tengaran yang indekos di daerah Kel. Gedang Anak Kec. Ungaran Timur.
Kapolres Semarang AKBP Yovan Fatika H A, SIK., MH., Sabtu (14/1/2023) membenarkan adanya penangkapan seorang tersangka curanmor. Tersangka adalah warga Kota Semarang berinisial MI (18th) yang diamankan Unit Reskrim Polsek Ungaran dipimpin langsung Kapolsek Ungaran Kompol Gunawan Wibisono, S.Kom., SIK., MH.
“Saat ini tersangka sedang menjalani pemeriksaan Unit Reskrim Polsek Ungaran. Tersangka merupakan warga Kec. Semarang Utara Kota Semarang yang diamankan beserta barang bukti 1 (satu) unit sepeda motor dengan kepemilikan atas nama korban Erfan Masrukhan,” ungkapnya.
Mendampingi Kapolres, Kompol Gunawan menjelaskan bahwa korban mengetahui bahwa sepeda motornya raib saat korban hendak akan berangkat kerja pada Rabu Pagi (11/1/2023).
“Jadi pada Selasa 10/1/2023 pukul 14.30 WIB korban pulang dari kerja dan memarkir sepeda motornya di luar gerbang karena korban merasa aman sebab di depan tempat kos nya masih ada penjual angkringan, sekitar pukul 18.00 WIB korban pergi ke angkringan dan pukul 18.30 WIB korban memasukkan sepeda motornya di dalam halaman kos nya. Selanjutnya korban tidak keluar kamar kos lagi hingga pagi hari,” jelas Kompol Gunawan.
Kapolres Semarang kembali menambahkan bahwa karena korban merasa lupa bahwa kunci kendaraan masih menempel dan penjual angkringan sudah tutup, dimungkinkan pelaku dapat dengan mudah membawa lari sepeda motor korban.
“Setelah melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polsek Ungaran, Polsek ungaran melakukan penyelidikan dengan meminta keterangan sejumlah saksi di lokasi kejadian. Unit Reskrim Polsek Ungaran Akhirnya mendapatkan informasi keberadaan tersangka di Kota Semarang dan mengamankan tersangka saat berada di wilayah Kedung Batu Kota Semarang,” tandasnya.
Dengan kejadian ini, Kapolres menghimbau kepada seluruh warga Kab. Semarang untuk melakukan pengecekan ulang terhadap keamanan kendaraan maupun pintu pagar rumah apakah sudah terkunci atau belum.
“Karena tindak kejahatan memanfaatkan kelengahan korban, maka alangkah baiknya untuk masyarakat memastikan kembali kendaraan, pintu gerbang rumah maupun pintu utama sudah dalam keadaan terkunci. Apabila dimungkinkan, perlu diberi kunci tambahan,” imbau Kapolres.
Saat ini tersangka diamankan di Ruang Tahanan Polres Semarang dan kepada tersangka akan dikenakan Pasal 363 KUHP tentang Pencurian dengan Pemberatan dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 7 Tahun Penjara.(Redaksiswanara)
