Bantul – Sebelum berhasil diamankan polisi, seorang pemuda berinisial RCD (20) yang kedapatan membawa senjata tajam (sajam) jenis celurit diketahui melakukan pesta miras terlebih dahulu bersama teman-temannya.
“Miras yang dikonsumsi jenis topi miring,” kata Kapolsek Banguntapan, Kompol Irwiantoro saat menggelar jumpa pers di Mapolres Bantul, Rabu (26/7/2023).
Kompol Irwiantoro menjelaskan, RCD diamankan polisi yang sedang berpatroli di Padukuhan Ngumbul Tamanan, Kalurahan Tamanan, Kapanewon Banguntapan Kabupaten Bantul, DI Yogyakarta pada Minggu (23/7/2023) sekitar pukul 02.00 WIB.
Saat diamankan, pemuda asal Klaten Jawa Tengah itu, kedapatan membawa sebilah senjata tajam jenis celurit.
Motif pelaku membawa sajam adalah untuk mencari seseorang di daerah ringroad selatan yang bermasalah dengan teman dari pelaku berinisial WN.
“Sebelumnya WN ini tantang-tantangan dengan seseorang, lalu WN mengajak pelaku,” sebut Kompol Irwiantoro.
Dijelaskan kronologi penangkapan pelaku berawal saat polisi bersama anggota Pokdar Kamtibmas melakukan patroli Kamtibmas disekitar perempatan Grojogan Banguntapan. Lalu melihat dua kendaraan bermotor saling bertikai dengan cara saling menyabetkan senjata tajam.
Lalu dilakukan pengejaran ke arah ke utara sepanjang ringroad. Pelaku bersama dua rekannya akhirnya berhasil diamankan petugas. Mereka lalu dibawa ke Mapolsek Banguntapan.
Petugas juga berhasil mengamankan barang bukti berupa sebilah senjata tajam jenis celurit dengan panjang 65 cm dan satu unit sepeda motor Honda Scoopy.
Untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya, RCD dijerat Pasal 2 ayat 1 Undang Undang Darurat Nomor 12 Tahun 1951 dengan ancaman hukuman penjara 10 tahun.
“Sementara untuk kedua rekan pelaku, statusnya masih dalam pengembangan,” ungkap Kompol Irwiantoro.
