SURABAYA – Kapolda Jawa Timur, Irjen Pol Dr Toni Harmanto,M.H di dampingi Kapolrestabes Surabaya Kombes Pol Pasma Royce pimpin peletakan batu pertama pembangunan Asrama Polwan Sawitri sebanyak 80 kamar di Kecamatan Wonocolo Surabaya.
Kapolda Jatim menyampaikan pembangunan asrama yang modern dan nyaman bagi para Polwan sangat diperlukan
Menurut Irjen Toni, asrama baru ini akan memberikan fasilitas yang memadai dan kondisi yang mendukung bagi para Polwan dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai Polisi Wanita di Polda Jatim.
“Dibangunnya Asrama Polwan 80 kamar ini adalah bukti komitmen kami dalam memberikan fasilitas yang layak bagi anggota Polwan,”ungkap Irjen Toni usai meletakan batu pertama dimulainya Pembangunan,Selasa (11/7/2023).
Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto mengatakan , para Polwan Polda Jatim merupakan bagian penting dari institusi kepolisian.
“Polwan juga telah memberikan kontribusi yang luar biasa dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di Jawa Timur,”ungkapnya.
Asrama yang memiliki 80 kamar dengan fasilitas kamar mandi, ruang tamu, dan ruang belajar itu, juga akan dilengkapi dengan ruang olahraga, ruang makan, serta area rekreasi bagi para Polwan.
“Proyek ini diharapkan akan selesai dalam waktu yang relatif singkat sekitar 4 bulan, dan pihak Kepolisian Jawa Timur telah menetapkan target selesai pada akhir tahun ini,” tambah Irjen Toni.
Dengan adanya asrama baru itu, diharapkan para Polwan dapat lebih fokus dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas mereka tanpa harus khawatir tentang akomodasi dan fasilitas yang tidak memadai.
Kegiatan peletakan batu pertama itu juga menjadi momen penting dalam sejarah Polwan di Jawa Timur yang menunjukkan komitmen pemerintah dan Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Timur dalam memberikan perhatian yang layak kepada anggota Polwan.
Kapolda Jatim mengakhiri pidatonya dengan mengapresiasi upaya dan dedikasi para Polwan dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah Jawa Timur.
Irjen Pol Toni berharap bahwa pembangunan Asrama Polwan 80 kamar ini akan memberikan dorongan semangat baru bagi para anggota Polwan untuk terus berjuang dalam menjalankan tugas mereka dengan profesionalitas dan integritas yang tinggi.
