MALANG – Unit Reskrim Polsek Singosari Polres Malang berhasil mengamankan satu orang pelaku tindak pidana penipuan atau penggelapan di wilayah Kabupaten Malang.
Pria berinisial WA (33) asal Desa Blayu, Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang, itu berhasil diamankan pihak kepolisian pada Kamis (13/10) jam 10.00 WIB saat sedang melintas di Jalan Kendedes, Candirenggo, Singosari, Kabupaten Malang.
Menurut keterangan MRF (24), seorang pria asal Kecamatan Sukun, Kota Malang yang menjadi korban, awalnya ia sedang mencari informasi pekerjaan melalui sosial media Facebook.
Kemudian setelah beberapa kali melihat-lihat dan bertanya di laman Facebook yang mengunggah informasi pekerjaan, ada seseorang yang mengaku bisa memberikan pekerjaan sebagai karyawan di salah satu perusahaan distributor air minum di Malang.
Merasa tertarik karena dijanjikan pekerjaan, MRF kemudian bertukar nomor telepon dengan WA dan janjian untuk bertemu. Kemudian dengan mengendarai sepeda motor jenis Honda Scoopy miliknya, MRF bergegas menuju tempat kos WA di daerah Klampok, Singosari, Kabupaten Malang, Sabtu (8/10).
Setelah keduanya bertemu, WA membahas tentang pekerjaan yang dijanjikan kepada MRF.
Tak lama kemudian, WA meminjam sepeda motor milik MRF untuk keluar sebentar dengan alasan membeli makanan. Namun setelah ditunggu berjam-jam, WA tak kunjung kembali dan tidak bisa dihubungi.
Merasa menjadi korban penipuan, WA kemudian melapor ke Polsek Singosari.
Kapolres Malang AKBP Putu Kholis Aryana melalui Kasi Humas Polres Malang IPTU Ahmad Taufik mengatakan bahwa setelah mendapat laporan korban, pihaknya bergegas melakukan penyelidikan terhadap terduga pelaku.
“Anggota di lapangan berhasil melacak keberadaan pelaku dan langsung diamankan saat itu juga beserta barang bukti,” jelas Taufik, di Polres Malang, Jumat (14/10).
Taufik menambahkan, dari tangan pelaku, penyidik berhasil menyita barang bukti berupa 1 buah telepon genggam yang digunakan sebagai sarana melakukan penipuan dan uang tunai sejumlah 277 ribu sisa dari hasil penjualan sepeda motor korban.
“Sepeda motor milik korban sudah dijual oleh pelaku, uangnya digunakan untuk bersenang-senang. Hanya sisa 277 ribu dan kita dijadikan barang bukti,” imbuh Taufik.
Guna mempertanggung jawabkan perbuatannya, terduga pelaku WA kini terpaksa harus bermalam di Polsek Singosari. Ia dikenakan Pasal 378 Sub. Pasal 372 KUHP tentang penipuan dan atau penggelapan dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal empat tahun penjara.(Red)
