BANYUMAS – Seorang pria berinisial BP (21) warga Kec. Krangkeng Kab. Indramayu, berhasil diamankan Polsek Ajibarang Polresta Banyumas. BP diamankan usai tertangkap saat mencoba kabur setelah mencuri motor milik salah seorang warga di Ajibarang Wetan, Kec. Ajibarang, Kab. Banyumas.

Heri Sudaryanto, SH, MH, mengatakan, aksi pencurian terjadi pada Minggu (19/11/23) sekira pukul 06.30 WIB. Pelaku ditangkap setelah petugas mendapat informasi dari warga kemudian mengejar pelaku yang berjumlah empat orang.
“Pada saat itu pelapor keluar rumah dan melihat sepeda motor merk honda beat warna biru hitam miliknya sedang di naiki oleh laki-laki tidak kenal kemudian pelapor berteriak “Maling-Maling”, kemudian mlihat 4 (empat) orang melarikan diri ke arah selatan”, kata Kapolsek saat di konfirmasi, Senin (20/11/23).
Selanjutnya pelapor EP (41) warga Ajibarang Wetan menghubungi petugas Polsek Ajibarang kemudian petugas bersama warga melakukan pengejaran dan berhasil mengamankan 1 (satu) orang pelaku yang mengendarai sepeda motor Yamaha N-Max warna Merah sebagai sarana, sedangkan 3 (tiga) orang temannya berhasil melarikan diri.
“Saat ini pelaku BP beserta barang bukti berupa motor N-Max merah sebagai sarana dan motor korban merk honda beat warna biru hitam serta alat-alat yang digunakan dalam beraksi telah diamankan di Polsek Ajibarang. Saat ini polisi juga berusaha mengejar pelaku lain yang melarikan diri”, kata Kapolsek.
Atas perbuatanya, pelaku dijerat dengan pasal 363 KUHP atas dugaan tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan dan diancam hukuman penjara paling lama 7 tahun.
