Purbalingga – Seorang pemuda berinisial YA (23) pengangguran warga Desa Pekalongan, Kecamatan Bojongsari, Kabupaten PurbaIingga harus berurusan dengan pihak kepolisian. Pasalnya ia, kepergok warga mencuri sepeda motor di wilayah Kelurahan Kalikabong, Kecamatan Kalimanah, Kabupaten Purbalingga akhir tahun lalu.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Purbalingga AKP Suyanto saat memberikan keterangan, Senin (9/1/2023) mengatakan tersangka melakukan pencurian sepeda motor yang diparkir di depan rumah korban Gilang Akbar Susanto (30) warga Kelurahan Kalikabong RT 6 RW 5, Kecamatan Kalimanah, Kabupaten Purbalingga.
“Pencurian tersebut dilakukan tersangka pada hari Kamis tanggal 29 Desember 2022 sekira jam 06.30 WIB,” jelas Kasat Reskrim didampingi PS Kasubsi Penmas Aipda Mistar.
Dijelaskan bahwa modus yang dilakukan tersangka yaitu mendatangi rumah korban berpura-pura mencari obat sakit kepala. Saat korban masuk ke dalam rumah dan menutup pintu, kemudian tersangka mengambil sepeda motor milik korban yang diparkir di depan rumah. Sepeda motor yang tidak dikunci stang kemudian berusaha dibawa kabur.
“Saat tersangka sedang menuntun sepeda motor tersebut, korban melihat dan kemudian meminta tolong warga. Tersangka akhirnya berhasil diamankan warga dan kemudian diserahkan ke pihak kepolisian,” ungkapnya.
Barang bukti yang diamankan diantaranya, satu sepeda motor merk Yamaha Vixion bernomor polisi R-2557-VL, jaket warna merah dan putih, satu buah tas slempang warna hitam, celana pendek warna hitam dan satu buah kunci. Selain itu, diamankan surat-surat kendaraan berupa STNK dan BPKB dari korban.
Dari pengakuan tersangka, sebelum melakukan aksinya ia terlebih dahulu minum miras bersama teman-temannya. Kemudian ia datang ke tempat kos pacarnya di wilayah Kelurahan Kalikabong. Dari tempat kos pacarnya kemudian ia berjalan kaki mencari sasaran hingga mengambil sepeda motor milik korban.
Kasat Reskrim menambahkan kepada tersangka dikenakan tindak pidana pencurian yaitu Pasal 362 KUHP Jo Pasal 53 KUHP. Pasal 53 ini menjelaskan tentang selesainya tindak pidana bukan diniati oleh yang bersangkutan, namun akibat diketahui oleh warga.
“Ancaman hukumannya yaitu pidana penjara selama-lamanya lima tahun. Sehingga langsung kami lakukan penahanan,” tegasnya.
Kasat Reskrim berpesan kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Purbalingga agar waspada terhadap pencurian sepeda motor. Mengingat saat ini banyak modus yang dilakukan pelaku. Pastikan saat memarkir kendaraan keamanan harus diperhatikan seperti mengunci stang maupun kunci ganda agar terhindar dari pencurian.
