Surabaya – Laksma TNI Arif Badrudin, Wakil Gubernur Akademi TNI Angkatan Laut (Wagub AAL), mewakili Gubernur AAL Laksda TNI Supardi ¹dalam pembukaan Latihan dan Praktek (Lattek) Kepemimpinan II. Acara ini diikuti oleh Taruna AAL Tingkat IV Angkatan ke-69 dan penerimaan Lattek Jalasesya tahun 2023 Taruna AAL Tingkat II Angkatan ke-71. Acara ini berlangsung di Indoor Sport Jala Krida Raga, Kesatrian AAL, Bumimoro, Surabaya, pada hari Senin (22/11).
Lattek Kepemimpinan II kali ini diikuti oleh 106 Taruna AAL Tingkat IV Angkatan ke-69 dan berlangsung selama lima hari, mulai dari tanggal 27 November hingga 1 Desember 2023.
Dalam amanatnya Gubernur AAL yang dibacakan oleh Wagub AAL, menekankan bahwa latihan kepemimpinan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada Taruna Tingkat IV. Hal ini dilakukan melalui pengembangan karakter individu dan kelompok, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri untuk mengembangkan jiwa kepemimpinan sebagai persiapan menjadi pemimpin masa depan.
Latihan ini juga diharapkan dapat membangkitkan semangat nasionalisme para Taruna AAL sebagai calon pemimpin TNI AL/TNI, bangsa, dan negara di masa depan.
Selain itu, acara ini juga menandai penerimaan Lattek Jalasesya Taruna AAL Tingkat II Angkatan ke-71. Gubernur AAL mengucapkan selamat datang kembali di Kesatrian AAL, Bumimoro Surabaya, dengan harapan bahwa selama pelayaran, para Taruna AAL Tingkat II dapat memanfaatkan pengalaman ini baik dari segi akademik, mental kepribadian, dan kesamaptaan jasmani. Latihan ini dianggap sebagai bekal awal dalam melaksanakan penugasan di masa yang akan datang.(Redaksi Swanara)
