Jakarta – Indonesia mengutuk serangan Israel terhadap Rumah Sakit Indonesia di Gaza yang telah menewaskan sejumlah warga sipil. Kecaman ini disampaikan oleh Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi.
“Serangan tersebut merupakan pelanggaran nyata terhadap hukum humaniter internasional,” ujarnya.
Menlu Retno mendesak semua negara, terutama yang memiliki hubungan dekat dengan Israel harus menggunakan pengaruh dan kemampuannya untuk mendesak Israel menghentikan kekejamannya.
Dia mengatakan hingga saat ini Kementerian Luar Negeri masih hilang kontak dengan tiga warga negara Indonesia (WNI) yang menjadi relawan di RS Indonesia.
“Saya sendiri telah menghubungi UNRWA (Badan PBB untuk pengungsi Palestina) di Gaza untuk menanyakan situasi RS Indonesia dan memperoleh jawaban bahwa UNRWA juga tidak dapat melakukan kontak dengan siapa pun di RS Indonesia saat ini,” ungkapnya.
Menlu Retno juga mengatakan bahwa pihaknya telah berupaya menghubungi Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) dan Palang Merah Internasional, tetapi belum mendapatkan jawaban.
“Saya akan terus berusaha untuk menghubungi berbagai pihak, guna memperoleh informasi terkait RS Indonesia dan keselamatan tiga WNI tersebut,” ujarnya.
Menlu Retno saat ini sedang berada di Beijing, China bersama dengan Menlu Arab Saudi, Yordania, Mesir, Palestina dan Sekjen Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) untuk menggalang dukungan dari negara-negara anggota tetap Dewan Keamanan (DK PBB) agar gencatan senjata dapat segera dilakukan dan bantuan kemanusiaan dapat juga dilakukan tanpa hambatan.
China merupakan salah satu anggota tetap DK PBB bersama dengan empat negara lainnya, yakni Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Rusia, dan Prancis. Usai dari China, para Menlu OKI selanjutnya akan terbang ke Moskow untuk menggalang dukungan serupa.(Redaksiswanara)
