Bekasi.- Masyarakat Kota Bekasi diimbau agar tidak menggelar sahur on the road (SOTR) selama bulan Ramadan nanti. Lantaran kegiatan SOTR dinilai berpotensi menimbulkan tawuran.
“Imbauan kami agar masyarakat tidak melaksanakan SOTR. Karena beberapa kejadian pada beberapa waktu sebelumya malah dijadikan untuk tawuran,” jelas Kapolres Metro Bekasi Kota, Kombes. Pol. Dani Hamdani, S.I.K., M.P.M.,Minggu (19/3/23).
Kapolres menambahkan, kegiatan SOTR dapat digantikan dengan kegiatan dalam gedung yang juga bernuansa keagamaan. Di antaranya, dengan menggandeng pesantren demi menjaga masa suci Lebaran.
“Di dalam gedung itu jauh lebih baik. Karena suasana Ramadan dapat kita rasakan dengan baik. Jadi, jangan sampai merusak dan kontra produktif,” jelasnya lebih lanjut.
Kapolres menegaskan, demi mencegah adanya kegiatan SOTR yang menimbulkan gangguan ketertiban masyarakat, pihaknya bakal menggandeng jajaran Polri dan Satpol PP untuk melaksanakan patroli. Terutama dilakukan di tempat-tempat yang dikenal rawan terhadap aksi tawuran.
“Kita cegah SOTR. Makanya, kami bakal meningkatkan patroli gabungan dengan Kodim, Satpol PP,” katanya.(Red)
