Bantul – Jajaran Polsek Pleret, Bantul, mengamankan seorang mantan asisten rumah tangga (ART) di Padukuhan Tegalrejo, Kalurahan Bawuran, Kapanewon Pleret, Kapanewon Bantul berinisial A.
Wanita berusia 38 tahun ini diringkus polisi usai terbukti melakukan tindak pidana pencurian.
Kapolsek Pleret, AKP Wiyadi, berujar pelaku sebelumnya bekerja sebagai ART di rumah korban bernama Tinarsih (43) di Padukuhan Tegalrejo pada pertengahan 2022.
Namun, pelaku diberhentikan dari pekerjaannya pada Mei 2023.
“Pelaku diberhentikan karena korban merasa curiga, di mana sejumlah barang milik korban ada yang hilang,” katanya saat jumpa pers di Mapolsek Pleret, Senin (28/8/2023).
Beberapa barang yang hilang di kediaman korban tersebut berupa cincin emas dan sejumlah uang tunai.
Setelah itu, korban memasang CCTV untuk mengetahui siapa pelaku pencurian yang kerap mencuri di rumahnya.
Selanjutnya korban menjalankan aktivitas seperti biasanya.
“Kemudian, pada Senin (7/8/2023) sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB, saat korban baru kembali ke rumahnya dari pasar dan bermaksud mengecek CCTV rumah. Namun saat itu tidak bisa diakses,” tuturnya.
“Korban langsung menghubungi teknisi CCTV untuk mengakses CCTV tersebut. Pada saat sudah bisa diakses, ternyata ia melihat pada hari itu juga sekitar pukul 05.30 WIB, terdapat seorang perempuan masuk ke dalam rumah dengan cara mencongkel jendela dan berusaha mengambil sesuatu,” jelas AKP Wiyadi.
Akan tetapi, setelah rekam kejadian itu muncul, selanjutnya CCTV berhenti/rusak.
Saat dicek ternyata box power supply CCTV telah hilang.
Atas kejadian tersebut, korban melaporkannya kepada Polsek Pleret untuk dilakukan tindak lanjut.
Setelah mendapatkan informasi lebih lanjut, unit Reskrim Polsek Pleret langsung meringkus pelaku di kediamannya yang juga berlokasi di Padukuhan Tegalrejo pada Senin (7/8/2023).
“Alasan pelaku mengambil box power supply CCTV itu karena mungkin dipikir oleh pelaku bahwa itu adalah memori rekaman CCTV. Sedangkan alasan pelaku mencuri adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan melunasi hutang-hutangnya,” ungkapnya.
“Saat ini, pelaku kami tahan dan kami kenakan pasal 363 ayat (1) ke 3e dan 5e KUHP tentang Pencurian dengan pemberatan dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal tujuh tahun penjara,” tandas AKP Wiyadi.
