Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani diundang untuk menghadiri Rapat Pimpinan (Rapim) TNI-Polri 2022. Puan juga diminta untuk memberi pembekalan pada acara tahunan yang akan digelar Markas Besar TNI pada 1 Maret 2022 besok.
“Saya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Panglima TNI dan Kapolri beserta seluruh jajarannya yang memberikan kesempatan kepada DPR RI untuk memberi masukan pada alat pertahanan dan keamanan negara yang sangat diandalkan rakyat ini,” kata Puan di Jakarta, Senin (28/2/2022).
Perempuan pertama yang menjabat sebagai Ketua DPR RI ini akan memberikan pembekalan kepada para pimpinan komando utama TNI-Polri usai Presiden Joko Widodo memberikan pengarahan.
“DPR RI sebagai representasi perwakilan rakyat akan memberi masukan kepada jajaran TNI-Polri agar semakin solid dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas pokoknya sebagai alat pertahanan negara, dan pemelihara keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat,” kata Puan.
Puan juga berharap Rapim TNI-Polri 2022 ini akan semakin memupuk soliditas dan sinergitas dua lembaga yang menjadi tumpuan rakyat dalam bidang pertahanan dan kemanan ini.
“Kami berharap Rapim TNI-Polri 2022 ini akan semakin memperkuat sinergitas kedua instansi. Tidak hanya di level pimpinan, tapi juga hingga jajaran paling bawah,” kata Puan.
Soliditas dan sinergitas TNI-Polri tersebut, kata Puan, sangat penting karena dua lembaga ini memegang peran yang sangat strategis dalam ikut membangun kekuatan nasional.
“Yaitu dengan menciptakan situasi yang kondusif sehingga pembangunan di bidang sosial, ekonomi, budaya dan politik dapat dilaksanakan dengan efektif,” ujarnya.
Puan berharap, Rapim TNI-Polri ini dapat menghasilkan pemikiran yang konstruktif, terlebih di tengah situasi pandemi Covid-19 sekarang ini.
“Sehingga dua lembaga ini dapat ikut mengawal agenda pemulihan ekonomi nasional dan agenda reformasi struktural,” ujarnya.
