Disela kegiatan tersebut, Perwira Penerangan (Papen) Satgas Yonif 721/Mks dalam keterangannya mengatakan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Pos Kotis Tiom dengan membagikan sembako dan baju ibadah merupakan suatu bentuk kepedulian satgas kepada masyarakat.
“kegiatan ini dilaksanakan setelah warga selesai melaksanakan ibadah dan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian sembako dan baju ibadah untuk warga Gereja Konikme, Distrik Yugungwi”, ungkap Rencha Putra.
“Kami menyiapkan segala upaya yang telah disiapkan dan diprogramkan oleh Dansatgas Yonif 721/Mks Letkol Inf Heri Kuswanto untuk selalu peduli kepada masyarakat Papua, semoga dengan adanya bantuan ini, dapat bermanfaat dalam membantu saudara-saudara kita di Desa Konikme dan harapan kami melalui kegiatan ini akan semakin terjalin hubungan yang harmonis, dapat mempererat kekeluargaan dengan warga Papua, khususnya di Kab. Lanny Jaya, serta dapat menjadi ladang kebaikan untuk Satgas dan masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” ucap Papen.
Sementara itu, Pasiops Satgas Yonif 721/Mks Lettu Inf Rezki Ardi mengatakan bahwa kegiatan membagikan Sembako dan baju ibadah kepada warga sebagai bentuk meningkatkan amal ibadah para prajurit.
“Kami membagikan 160 pakaian ibadah dan 150 paket sembako untuk warga Desa Konikme, Harapan kami dengan kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk saudara-saudara kita yang membutuhkan dan masyarakat yang menerimanya mendapatkan nikmat, berkah serta bernilai menjadi amal ibadah dari Tuhan YME”, jelas Pasiops.
