Akibat kecelakaan tersebut Dhaihatsu Xenia BH 1339 BM yang membawa lima orang penumpang ini rusak berat dibagian depan dan pengemudinya bernama Adam Jordan menderita luka robek pada lutut sebelah kanan dan penurunan kesadaran.
Sementara penumpangnya atas nama Febri Yelita Sari menderita bengkak pada kaki sebelah kiri dan luka lecet pada dagu, Aura Clarista, menderita bengkak pada kaki kiri, Andre menderita luka robek pada kaki, dan Alhafiz menderita cidera kepala.
Kapolres Dharmasraya, AKBP Nurhadiansyah melalui Kasat Lantas, Iptu Sayyid Malik Ibrahim menyebutkan, peristiwa tersebut bermula ketika Bus Colt Diesel PT. Trans Mutiara Indah BG 7947 AO yang dikemudikan oleh Mamansyah melaju dari arah Bungo menuju Padang dengan kecepatan sedang.
Setiba di Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) pengemudi terkejut karena melihat dari arah berlawanan mini bus Daihatsu Xenia BH 1339 BM yang dikemudikan Adam Jordan melaju dengan kondisi menyalip kendaraan yang berada di depannya.
Melihat situasi tersebut, Mamansyah memperlambat laju Kendaraannya dan menghindari keluar badan jalan sebelah kiri.
Namun karena jarak antara kedua kendaraan tersebut sudah dekat benturan tidak bisa dielakkan lantaran pengemudi Daihatsu Xenia BH 1339 BM tidak dapat mengendalikan Laju Kendaraan yang dikemudikannya.
“Lima orang yang berada di dalam mobil Dhaihatsu mengalami cedera dan sudah dirujuk ke RSUD Dharmasraya untuk mendapat perawatan medis,” terang Iptu Sayyid Malik Ibrahim.
Lanjut Iptu Sayyid Malik Ibrahim, untuk proses lebih lanjut petugas telah melakukan olah TKP dan barang bukti atas kejadian tersebut sudah dimankan di Mako Polres Dharmasraya.
“Kami menghimbau kepada pengendara pengguna jalan lintas selalu waspada karena arus balik saat ini jumlah kendaraan yang mrelintas cukup banyak,” pungkasnya.(Wafi)
