Purbalingga – Kasat Lantas Polres Purbalingga AKP Rizky Widyo Pratomo mengimbau kepada pemudik yang masuk wilayah Kabupaten Purbalingga agar mewaspadai daerah rawan kecelakaan. Hal itu disampaikan Kasat Lantas, Rabu (27/4/2022).
“Ada tiga titik yang menjadi lokasi rawan kecelakaan di Purbalingga yaitu Jalur Bayeman Desa Tlahab Lor Kecamatan Karangreja, Jalur Wisata Jalan Raya Serang Kecamatan Karangreja dan Jalan Raya Bajong Kecamatan Bukateja,” jelasnya.
Dijelaskan bahwa jalur Bayeman merupakan lokasi paling rawan karena kondisi jalannya banyak tikungan dan turunan tajam. Kondisi demikian mulai dari perbatasan Kabupaten Pemalang. Bagi pengemudi yang tidak paham medan, biasanya rem akan mengalami panas hingga blong saat sampai di jalur tersebut.
“Karena itu, kami mendirikan posko dan rest area di daerah Karangreja sebelum jalur Bayeman. Kendaraan diminta untuk istirahat sejenak sehingga kondisi remnya kembali normal tidak sampai gagal fungsi,” tegasnya.
Lebih lanjut disampaikan bahwa jalur wisata Serang juga rawan kecelakaan karena memiliki kontur yang sama dengan jalur Bayeman. Banyak jalan menikung dan menurun. Jalur ini merupakan jalur alternatif kendaraan kecil dari Pulosari Pemalang, atau pengalihan kendaraan dari jalur utama Belik-Karangreja.
Lokasi rawan kecelakaan selanjutnya menurut Kasat Lantas yaitu di jalur jalan raya Bajong – Bukateja. Lokasi yang merupakan jalan provinsi kondisinya lebar dan lurus, namun minim penerangan. Sehingga penglihatan pengemudi akan berkurang bila melintasi jalan ini khususnya saat malam hari.
“Kami menyiapkan pos terpadu di seluruh jalur tersebut. Bila dirasa memang pemudik letih dan mengantuk, sebaiknya berhenti untuk beristirahat. Sehingga konsentrasi dalam mengendara tidak menurun dan kecelakaan dapat dicegah,” imbaunya
