Bantul – Kapolsek Banguntapan Kompol Irwiantoro SH menghadiri acara peletakan batu pertama pembangunan Gereja Santo Paulus, Pringgolayan, Banguntapan, Bantul, Rabu (16/8/2023).
Peletakan batu pertama secara simbolis dilakukan oleh Bupati Bantul H. Abdul Halim Muslih dan disaksikan langsung oleh Keuskupan Agung Semarang MGR Roberto Rubiyatmoko, Panewu Banguntapan I Nyoman Gunarsa S.Psi M.Psi, Kapolsek Banguntapan Kompol Irwiantoro SH, Paroki Gereja Sanyo Paulus Pringgolayan (GSPP) Romo Agustinus Ariawan Pr, Dewan Gereja serta Kepala Pembangunan GSPP.
Bupati Bantul dalam sambutannya berharap semoga pembangunan Gereja Sanyo Paulus Pringgolayan memberikan manfaat untuk umat dan mampu menampung jumlah jemaat saat ibadah rutin maupun hari besar keagamaan.
Ia juga mengapresiasi Forkopimkap Bangintapan dalam menjaga kerukunan antar umat beragama.
