Jakarta Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menjelaskan mengenai peristiwa pembakaran pesawat Susi Air di Papua hari ini (7/2/23).
Menurutnya, para penumpang pesawat itu kini menjadi tawanan Kelompok Kriminal Bersenjata (KKB).
“Terkait dengan perkembangan pilot dan penumpang yang diamankan oleh KKB, saat ini sedang dalam pencarian. Kami tim gabungan dari Ops Damai Cartens saat ini sedang dilakukan pencarian,” ungkap Kapolri dalam konferensi pers , Selasa (7/2/23).
Diketahui, dalam pesawat Susi Air tersebut terdapat 5 penumpang. Bahkan, pilot pesawat tersebut adalah WNA Selandia Baru bernama Philips Max Marthin.
Kapolda Papua, Irjen. Pol. Mathius D. Fakhiri sebelumnya menerangkan, peristiwa berawal dari adanya pengancaman pekerja di salah satu puskesmas.
“Ada pengancaman terhadap pekerja puskesmas. Kita berusaha untuk evakuasi. Namun kemarin pesawat yang kita kirim tadi pagi ya dibakar,” jelasnya.(Red)
