Jakarta – Polres Jakarta barat membagikan 1.000 paket sembako sebagai bantuan kemanusian dari Kapolri untuk meringankan beban masyarakat yang terdampak fluktuasi harga bahan pokok di awal Bulan Ramadhan tahun ini di Jakarta Barat.
Kapolres Jakbar Kombes M. Syahduddi menerangkan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Hari Senin, 27 Maret 2023 di dua lokasi serentak yaitu di Kampung Balong, Srengseng, Kembangan dan di Kampung Venus yang dikenal sebagai Kampung Gelap berlokasi di Kelurahan Jembatan Besi, Tambora.
“Kampung Venus ini dipilih menjadi lokasi penyaluran bantuan dari Pak Kapolri karena merupakan salah satu slum area di Tambora, banyak warga yang membutuhkan bantuan karena terdampak adanya fluktuasi harga bahan pokok di awal Ramadhan” Ujar Syahduddi.
Kapolres Jakbar terlihat blusukan hingga naik ke lantai 3 untuk menyalurkan bantuan kepada warga kampung Venus yang dikenal dengan sebutan Kampung Gelap karena saking padatnya kawasan ini mengakibatkan sinar matahari siang tidak mampu menembus ke tanah.
“Total 500 paket Sembako dibagikan di Kampung Venus ini, 500 lagi dibagikan di Kampung Balong, Kembangan. Pembagian Sembako dibantu juga oleh Kapolsek Tambora Kompol Putra Pratama, Danramil dan Lurah Kelurahan Jembatan Besi. Semoga bermanfaat bagi warga”. Tambah Syahduddi.
Kampung Venus meskipun berada di DKI Jakarta, namun suasana didalamnya bak tinggal dalam sebuah lorong gelap yang diterangi cahaya lampu selama 24 jam. Daerah perkampungan yang sangat sempit, sehingga sulit untuk diakses oleh pejalan kaki sekalipun. Bangunan rumah di gang venus dalam bentuk semi permanen yang menjulang dalam bentuk vertikal.
