Muara Enim – Kecelakaan di Gelumbang Muara Enim, Kijang Super dengan Innova, 5 tewas 3 luka.
Kecelakaan antara mobil Kijang Super BG 1386 CH bertabrakan dengan mobil Kijang Inova BG 1542 ZL terjadi di Jalan Palembang-Prabumulih Desa Segayam, Kecamatan Gelumbang, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Senin (27/2/2023) sekitar pukul 08.30.
Lima orang tewas dan tiga lainnya luka-luka dalam tragedi kecelakaan pagi hari tersebut.
Adapun korban penumpang Kijang Super BG 1386 CH beralamat Karya Jaya, Kertapati, Palembang yang meninggal dunia yakni Zainal Abidin (60), Sherly (60), Indra (39), Muhriyati (39) dan Ikbal (5).
Sedangkan yang luka-luka adalah pengemudi Kijang Super BG 1386 CH Abdul Rahman (45) mengalami patah tangan kanan dan robek dibagian muka, dan Arya Kalam Ilahi (25) tidak sadarkan diri dirujuk dan dirawat di RS Prabumulih.
Satu orang lagi Pengemudi mobil Kijang Inova BG 1542 ZJ Muslim di rawat di RS Gelumbang.
Menurut Kapolres Muara Enim AKBP Andi Supardi didampingi Kasat Lantas AKP Suwandi mengatakan bahwa kejadian tersebut berawal ketika mobil Kijang Super BG 1386 CH yang di kemudikan oleh Abdul Rahman yang baru pulang ziarah ke makam Puyang di daerah Kecamatan Rambang Dangku berjalan dari arah Prabumulih menuju Palembang.
Ketika tiba dilokasi kejadian tepatnya di Desa Segayam diduga hendak mendahului kendaraan yang berada di depannya lalu dari arah berlawanan tiba-tiba datanglah mobil yang tidak di ketahui identitasnya.
Karena tiba-tiba pengemudi Kijang Super spontan membanting stir ke kiri untuk menghindari tabrakan namun ternyata mobil tersebut oleng dan terbalik beberapa kali kemudikan menabrak mobil Kijang Inova BG 1542 ZJ yang di kemudikan oleh Muslim.
Atas kejadian tersebut pengemudi dan penumpang mobil Kijang Super dan Kijang Innova mengalami ringsek berat, bahkan penumpang Kijang Super ada yang meninggal dunia dan luka-luka.
“Mobil Kijang Super itu ngebut karena mau mendahului, banting stir oleng dan terbalik berkali-kali serta menabrak Kijang Kapsul. Saya sekarang masih di lokasi, maaf masih sibuk mengantarkan jenazah ke Palembang,” ujar Kapolres.
