Grobogan – Polres Grobogan bakal menggelar operasi keselamatan 2023 dengan tema “Keselamatan Lalu Lintas yang Pertama dan Utama”. Operasi itu sendiri akan dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 7 sampai 20 Februari 2023.
Hal itu diungkapkan Kapolres Grobogan AKBP Dedy Anung Kurniawan saat memimpin apel gelar pasukan operasi keselamatan lalu lintas candi 2023 dalam rangka meningkatkan budaya tertib berlalu lintas masyarakat, pada selasa ( 7/2/2023 ).
Dalam kegiatan apel gelar pasukan itu, juga dihadiri oleh Forkopimda Grobogan, Satpol PP Grobogan dan Dinas perhubungan Kabupaten Grobogan.
“Operasi keselamatan lalu lintas candi 2023 itu akan dilakukan dengan mengedepankan tindakan preventif, edukatif dan persuasif,” ujar Kapolres Grobogan.
Kapolres Grobogan menjelaskan sasaran dalam Operasi Keselamatan 2023 adalah segala jenis pelanggaran yang kasatmata, seperti tidak menggunakan helm, melawan arah dan potensi gangguan yang menyebabkan kemacetan, pelanggaran dan laka lantas.
Untuk penindakan tilang, Kapolres Grobogan menyatakan bahwa dalam kegiatan Operasi Keselamatan 2023, kepolisian tetap mengedepankan penindakan tilang elektronik dengan ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) yang statis maupun mobile.
Disampaikan Kapolres Grobogan saat memimpin apel gelar pasukan itu, bahwa Polda Jawa Tengah mencatat pelanggaran dan pengenaan tilang terhadap pelanggar lalu lintas pada Tahun 2022 yang mengalami peningkatan signifikan dari tahun sebelumnya.
“Jumlah pelanggaran lalu lintas pada Tahun 2022 tercatat mencapai 1,068 juta pelanggar,’’ungkap Kapolres Grobogan.
Ditambahkan Kapolres Grobogan, jumlah itu mengalami kenaikan sekitar 71 persen di banding Tahun sebelumnya yang mencapai 374 ribu pelanggaran. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada pemberian sanksi yang mencapai 788 ribu tilang pada 2022.
“Kami imbau kepada masyarakat untuk tetap mematuhi aturan lalu lintas yang sudah ditetapkan, agar tercipta kamseltibcar lantas,” pungkas Kapolres Grobogan.(Redaksiswanara)
