Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Pol Fadil Imran bersama perwakilan dari Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) dan perwakilan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) menggelar rapat koordinasi Penanganan Pelanggaran Tindak Pidana Pemilihan Umum 2024.
“Kami baru saja melakukan rapat koordinasi lebih tepatnya konsolidasi awal antara komponen yang menjadi unsur dalam penegakan hukum terpadu pelanggaran pemilu,” ujar Fadil, Rabu (13/7/2022).
Menurut Fadil, pertemuan tersebut bertujuan melakukan identifikasi segala hal yang perlu dipersiapkan agar penyelenggaraan tahapan Pemilu 2024 bisa berjalan maksimal.
“Tentunya pertemuan pada sore hari ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisir, mengidentifikasi sejak dini hal-hal yang perlu dipersiapkan mulai dari personil pelatihan, kemudian material dan logistik yang diperlukan agar penyelenggaraan tahapan Pemilu ini bisa berjalan dengan kualitas yang semaksimal mungkin,” jelasnya.
Sementara Ketua Bawaslu Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Muhammad Jufri menjelaska pertemuan tersebut merupakan koordinasi awal persiapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024.
“Sebagaimana disampaikan Kapolda bahwa hari ini kita melakukan koordinasi lebih dini dalam rangka persiapan dalam mengawasi, dalam melakukan tindak pidana Pemilu,” ungkap Jufri.
“Berdasarkan pada pengalaman pada pemilu-pemilu yang lalu, banyak pelanggaran kampanye pemilu yang dilaporkan kepada masyarakat, kepada partai politik. Maka dari itu kita harus mulai awal mempersiapkan diri,” sambungnya.
Jufri menambahkan, koordinasi dari Kepolisian dan Kejati sangat berperan dalam melakukan penanganan tindak pidana Pemilu.
“Kami dari Bawaslu sangat membutuhkan ya teman-teman dari kepolisian dan Kejaksaan untuk melakukan penanganan tindak pidana Pemilu karena pintu masuk pelanggaran Pemilu ada di Bawaslu,” bebernya.
“Kemudian kami sampaikan nanti kalau merupakan tindak pidana pemilu kita sampaikan kepada kepolisian dan sampaikan kepada penuntut untuk diteruskan pengadilan,” katanya.(Red)
