Gresik – Kepala Kepolisian Daerah (Kapolda) Jawa Timur, Irjen. Pol. Dr. Toni Harmanto, M.H., didampingi pejabat utama (PJU) Polda Jatim, Rabu (23/8/23) pagi, melaksanakan peletakan batu pertama atau Ground Breaking Bangunan Polri di Kawasan Industri dan Pelabuhan “Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE)”.
Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto mengatakan, Polri ke depan terus dituntut oleh masyarakat dalam masalah tugas tanggung jawab keamanan dan ketertiban Masyarakat (Kamtibmas) termasuk di Kawasan obyek-obyek vital.
Ia menyebutkan isu – isu juga berkaitan dengan kebijakan politik, ekonomi, sosial budaya dan yang lain juga akan terus mendongkrak beban kinerja kepolisian, terlebih di tahun politik.
Untuk itu, di Kawasan Industri dan Pelabuhan “Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE) Kabupaten Gresik tersebut perlu dibangunnya kantor Polisi dengan berbagai pertimbangan demi terwujudnya Kamtibmas yang dimaksud.
Kapolda Jatim mengungkapkan pembangunan kantor Polisi Kawasan Khusus tersebut pihak JIIPE telah mengalokasikan area dan bahkan menyiapkan untuk pembangunan yang akan diperuntukkan bagi markas kepolisian.
Diketahui bahwa kawasan Industri dan Pelabuhan JIIPE Gresik itu mempunyai nilai strategis yang sangat tinggi. Alokasi tenaga kerja dan lebih kurang 60 perusahaan yang juga akan beroperasional di kawasan Industri dan Pelabuhan JIIPE Gresik itu.
Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto mengungkapkan bahwa ada tuntutan tugas yang memang harus terjawab dengan menyiapkan dengan baik personel kepolisian dalam hal ini Polda Jatim.
Kapolda Jatim juga memberikan apresiasi dan penghargaan setinggi tingginya kepada seluruh manajemen JIIPE, yang turut membangun markas Kepolisian sebagai satu jawaban untuk menindaklanjuti kegiatan kawasan ekonomi khusus tersebut.
“Atas nama Polda Jatim saya sampaikan apresiasi dan penghargaan setinggi tingginya kepada seluruh manajemen JIIPE, terutama dalam memberikan jaminan usaha perbaikan ekonomi yang akan terjadi, baik di Gresik, Jawa Timur maupun tingkat nasional,” jelasnya.
Direktur Utama Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera, Bambang Setiono juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Kapolda Jawa Timur yang meresmikan Ground Breaking untuk pembangunan Polres Pelabuhan dan Kawasan Industri JIIPE.
“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Bapak Kapolda dan jajarannya yang mana hari ini bisa terlaksana Ground Breaking untuk pembangunan Polres Pelabuhan dan Kawasan Industri JIIPE ini,” ungkapnya.
Ia berharap keamanan di JIIPE bisa terjamin karena dengan adanya kantor kepolisian yang tentu akan ditempatkan personel – personel Polda Jatim yang profesional dalam melaksanakan tugas dan wewenang dengan mengedepankan tanggung jawab.
Usai peletakan batu pertama dimulainya pembangunan, Irjen Toni Harmanto diikuti oleh seluruh PJU dan Kapolres jajaran Polda Jatim melakukan penanaman pohon di PT berkah kawasan manyar sejahtera, di KEK Gresik JIIPE.(Redaksiswanara)
