Kapolda menegaskan, jajarannya harus menjamin penyelenggaraan pertandingan piala dunia FIFA U-17. Dalam pengamanan ajang internasional itu, sebanyak 3.616 personel dikerahkan yang terdiri dari TNI dan Polri.
“Pengamanan bersifat menyeluruh baik tempat latihan, stadion, penonton,pemain hingga penginapan masing-masing negara peserta,” ungka Kapolda, Kamis (9/11/23).
Menurut Kapolda, seluruh personel pengamanan telah mendapatkan pelatihan dan siap diterjunkan untuk mengamankan kegiatan pertandingan serta menjaga situasi Kamtibmas. Pelaksanaan pengamanan pun dipastikan dilakukan secara humanis dan proposional.
“Setiap petugas memahami bahwa suksesnya penugasan ini merupakan kebanggaan dan membawa nama baik bangsa Indonesia ,” jelasnya.(Redaksiswanara)
