JAKARTA – Kepala Korps Lalu Lintas (Kakorlantas) Polri Irjen Pol Firman Shantyabudi mengajak masyarakat untuk mudik lebih awal pada Lebaran 2022. Firman menyebut dengan mudik lebih awal maka akan mencegah penumpukan kendaraan pada saat cuti liburan diberlakukan.
“kami mendasari atas jadwal-jadwal yang sudah ditetapkan Kami mendapatkan informasi bahwa anak-anak kita sudah diliburkan pada tanggal 22 April tapi kami juga mendapat informasi untuk para orang tua tenaga kerja ASN itu baru diberikan cuti pada tanggal 29 April,” ujar Firman dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Rabu (20/4/2022).
Firman menyampaikan masyarakat diminta untuk mudik lebih awal jika dapat mengambil cuti lebih cepat dari yang ditetapkan pemerintah. Dengan begitu, beban kondisi jalanan akan berkurang bila mudik tidak berbarengan.
“Mudik lebih awal, ini akan mengurangi beban kepadatan lalu lintas pada tanggal 28 April sampai tanggal 1 Mei yang kita rencanakan,” sambung Firman.
Firman dalam kesempatan ini, mengatakan penerapan one way dan ganjil genap secara berbarengan pada tanggal 28 April ini akan dimaksimalkan. Seluruh personel gabungan akan mengawal penuh, sembari mengajak masyarakat untuk taat berlalu lintas.
“Ini harus kami atur supaya masyarakat bisa mudik dengan lancar, oleh karena itu kami sangat berharap informasi penting yang sudah kita sampaikan tentang jadwal itu diikuti jam berapa sebaiknya mereka berangkat dari tempat asal ke tempat tujuan,” ucapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Firman juga mendorong masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas mudik gratis yang disediakan pemerintah. Dengan menggunakan fasilitas tersebut, maka akan terjadi pengurangan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi.
“Jadi ini salah satu upaya juga dari pemerintah termasuk Polri di dalamnya kita menyarankan masyarakat menggunakan kendaraan-kendaraan umum sehingga juga akan mengurangi jumlah kendaraan yang ada di jalan ini gratis silakan dimanfaatkan,” ujarnya.
Terakhir, Firman mengajakmasyarakat sebagai peserta lalu lintas untuk tertib berlalulintas. Dengan begitu, keamanan dan keselamatan mudik untuk sampai tujuan akan terlaksana dengan baik.
“Kunci terbangunnya budaya tertib lalu lintas adalah bagaimana masyarakat yang selama ini kita selalu mengatakan pemakai jalan Saya lebih suka menggunakan peserta lalu lintas itu bisa mengikuti aturan yang ada tertib patuh ada toleransi ada hak dan kewajiban di sana,”
