Kapolres Bukittinggi Akbp Dody Prawiranegara S.H, S.I.K, M.H, melalui Akp. Sitinjak, SH, menjelaskan bahwa mulai terlaksananya Operasi Ketupat Singgalang 2022, Personil Polres Bukittinggi telah di sebara untuk melakukan tugas-tugas Patroli baik jalan kaki maupun dengan ranmor R2, mereka kita terjunkan di Pos Pos Pam dan tempat-tempat keramaian seperti obyek wisata Jam Gadang, Panorama, Taman Margasatwa dan Budaya Kinantan, dan juga Pasar Atas, yang semuanya berlokasi di Kota Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat.
Selain Melaksanakan tugas di Pos Pos Pengamanan personil juga melaksanakan patroli, pada saat patroli personil juga himbauan kepada masyarakat pengunjung seperti di Jam Gadang
Melalui patroli , kita dari Polri selalu mengingatkan, agar masyarakat tetap menjaga dan melaksanakan protokol kesehatan, utamanya memakai masker. Demikian juga seluruh lokasi-lokasi wisata yang menjadi kunjungan masyarakat
Menurut Sitinjak, melalui patroli , bahwa pesan-pesan kamrias dapat secara langsung kepada masyarakat, juga melalui kehadiran Polri ditengah-tengah masyarakat dapat menghadirkan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi masyarakat tersebut.(Wafi)
